Not even close. Personally I don't have a problem when the mom or dad gets remarried and all of a sudden the MC gets a sibling. But in a situation like this where Chizuru was so young she doesn't even remember her mom, it does feel a little weird. He was old enough to know that they weren't blood related, but what pisses me off about this story is the fact that their parents weren't even going to tell her. For Christ's sake! Most parents would have told her when she was about 14. By then she would be old enough to understand what happened. I knew my big brother was my half brother by my mom's first marriage by the time I was 6. Granted, I was a lot smarter than my brother who's 6 yrs older than me. Hell! I'm not sure if him and my little sister even know why we moved to Oklahoma from L.A. back in the sixties. They're both kind of clueless. Makes me sometimes wonder if I'm really the adopted one. If it wasn't for the fact that my little sister and I both look like our dad I would have serious doubts. 🤣

It did feel like it ended abruptly after it came out. That being said - I do like no villain, no annoying tsundere type, no love triangle and a not dense MC that realized the sisters feelings (although it did appear he didn't understand his own until his sister tried to hook him up with her best friend). So it was a good story overall, the ending left more to be desired though. I wouldn't have minded that the best friend was more interested in the MC, she basically had all the criteria for being attracted to him, but its like "yea, he is an option" then done. Not saying for a love triangle purposes, but more like "Yea, we could date and it would be fun. But obviously he likes the sister and she likes him, so not gonna bother" Also more story as to WHY she is so attached to him, we really don't get a context for that. If they were so attached to each other, him moving out seemed kinda weird.
