The second story man… hit a little to close to home. Remember when I was 16 my girlfriend was already 18 and taking her first year of college early. She was going to visit me a week before my 17th birthday. Got into a wreck with a drunk driver. They tried to save her but the way it broke her neck caused her to end up brain dead due to the lack of oxygen to the brain… she sadly died a few days about 3 or 4 days before my 17th birthday she was gonna introduce herself to my parents as they never met her physically just through video calls. She was a wonderful person was training to be a vet so was I or at least I thought then she passed. Life was hard for quite a while tell I met a good friend she set me straight. If it wasn’t for her and eventually my best friend who I met around the same time I don’t know if I’d still be here today.

Yes. To be honest I did shed a couple tears for the second one. I couldn’t help it. Normally I have a high tolerance for sad things but this just powered straight through it. Thinking it could happen to anyone while it almost never happens. But still, putting myself in that guys shoes I can’t help but shed a couple tears.

I don't know if I want to listen to the second story again. I've not been in the MC's exact position of not being able to keep a promise, but I definitely know what it is like to lose someone close to you, although I didn't view the someone close to me in the same way as the MC viewed Himeka. I am glad that he was able to find a way to move on from the pain of loss. That is all that we can try to do to varying levels of success. It was a beautiful story though.

I expect to get ratio'd on this post about the second story, but I'm good because it's the truth. Guys never, ever cry nor show weakness around women. Most women claim they like to see guys express themselves but not when it comes to this. I've been to a few funerals and saw too many guys lose respect from the women in their lives when they broke down and cried, some even telling me later when they argued with said women that these women threw this crap in their faces during arguments for him not "manning up" or acting like a "little b1tch" when this was him losing a sister, mother, grandmother, and even one case their daughter (yeah that's right, his daughter, their daughter). Now keep in mind they don't mind if you cry in joy like the birth of a child with them however, but look around and do some research, even some women know men shouldn't cry in front of them you'll see it all over many social media and video sites. Now don't get me wrong a few women are compassionate about it, but most aren't and you don't know until it happens sadly. I remember at first when I heard about this how shocked I was, but women perceive us as the stable rock within the relationship therefore they don't want to see or expect weakness from us, and many women will claim it's okay until they see it for themselves then they aren't okay with it. I wish I was wrong about this, but I was stunned how some women are when a guy loses family, and in some cases slow, lingering, and that party suffering (like cancer) yet the other women in their lives expected the guy to be unfeeling unless it's about them (I'm even talking about mothers, daughters, and wife). I suggest as a guy get yourself away and cry privately, let them keep their false perception of you, otherwise you'll deal with it later from them at unforeseen and unprepared times.
