I humbly request passengers flying abroad and return back to always remember the names of officials . It's on their badge . It will be easy to complain to higher officials in case of wrong doings. Please .

Now as the senior officials of customs at HQ have seen this vlog I feel . Lets work together with them to solve this amicably. They too will have constraints which we should understand and good that it's brought to thier notice . Lers work on next steps along with customs. Any ideas welcome Example: Grievance redressal mechanism Forms to be filled mandatorily ( declaration and export certificate difference ) What can be done prior to reaching airport at any customs office in city. What should be done if no customs staff at departure - is there a 24/7 phone helpline Latest website link which clearly states required formalities for Electronic gold medications etc . Ground staff of customs politeness ( language) to passengers

i have even faced this issue in manglore airport. I am working in dubai and last time while i was going back from my vacation i asked for the declaration form for my gold item during that time they have replied the same thing no need for that just say that you have taken it from India itself no one will stop you . But when I came back for another vacation they stopped me and asked to pay custom tax even i shouted at them and when i told what your staff had said while i was going and they have no answer they were saying it's your responsibility to take the form but i dint pay anything and my new Trolly bag was completely broken trolly wheel were broken when I asked about they were like it's not our responsibility. They were so careless. They just need money if you show them 2000 note then they will pass everything.

Once I faced same problem with mangalor customs, that time main officer is mangalor local guy, first he spoken in tulu after he spoken in hindi only, but I also not give up. I solved my problem. Someone should solve this problem permanently.
