Mangalore Cucumber and Prawns curry | Sungta and Mogem

First up, is this beautiful curry that is a typical Mangalorean Catholic
style This dish goes really well for your weekday meal. Serve it up with
some steaming hot rice, some pickle on the side
List of ingredients
400 gms Mangalore cucumber, mogem
15-20 prawns
½ small onions
¾ tsp turmeric powder
4 pods of garlic
Little tamarind
8-10 red chillies (I have used a mix of both bedgi and Kashmiri)
½ tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp coriander seeds
7-8 peppercorns
½ tsp mustard seeds
1 cup grated coconut
Salt to taste
For Tadka
1 small onion
Few curries leaves
Coconut oil as required
