Akka Masoor Pulao - Lunch Box Recipes
This is a super delicious and wholesome pulao with the goodness of red lentils (masoor) rice and some spices. Since I totally totally love one pot meals, veg pulaos are usually what I prefer to make.
That is a perfect meal for when you want a hearty dinner at home, or just on lazy days.
You can serve this with any meat dishes or just with some simple curd raitha pickle and papad.

2 onions
2-3 green chillies
2 tomatoes
Curry leaves
1 cup Akka masoor
1.5 cups rice
Chopper coriander leave
Mint leaves
2 green chillies
Oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
Salt as required
1/2 tsp peppercorns
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
1/2 tsp spicy chilly powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp kashmiri chilly powder
1 tsp kauri methi
1/2 tsp garam masala

How much water please

Water ration is always 1:2 For 1 cup rice 2 cups water
