Maybe he's the twin's dad. It'll explain why his heart isn't fluttering when confessing to Melody or anything, that's just his excuse to support his daughter. It'll also explain the odd moment when he bowed in gratitude, notice he was the only one in the group to turn around and do so. The rest took it for granted that a friend would naturally help them, but for a father it means so much more.

I think the whole thing with his heartbeat is a bit of a gag. Kaiser is supposed to be this absurdly type A type person. He’s this nerdy guy who’s very suited to being a justice bureaucrat. He’s presented visually and through his character to be this extremely type A guy but he’s also intensely appreciative of traditional classical music. This is some fun Togashi writing. Everybody loves melody’s music but this nerdy thorough dude happens to have enough personal connection with his own interest in music to be the one character who can really appreciate melody’s insane skill in how she interprets a piece. He’s not the typical passionate music lover but his sober analytical personally allows him to see the intense beauty in melody past her looks.

I feel like the fact that Melody says there is manipulation involved then it must be true. I highly doubt that detail would be included and lead nowhere. We have seen her acuracy many times, with characters like Chrollo, Uvo and Killua, being able to note underlying intentions. So, the options would be: - self manipulation - known manipulatior controlling him - secret manipulatior controlling him This video already went over many of those options, but lets not forget our pal Illumi. He is the poster child of manipulation, and he has been unaccounted for for a while. Plus he could have easily hidden a needle that melody could fail to notice. Then there is pariston. We are not entirely sure what pariston can do, but his entrie character screams manipulation, so i feel like he could be using him as a means to enact chaos, or some well set up plan. I dont think its Morena, cause we already see how manipulation plays into contagen. This video also touched on Camila, which could make sense. What if he is a have not, and is loyal for that reason? Idk what to think anymore but this guy is weird

An idea that's been floating around my head is what if Kaiser isn't being manipulated by Nen but is instead being manipulated by something like psycho-somatic suggestion? Togashi has already shown with stuff like the miniature rose and TSK-17 that Nen isn't the only impactful power in the world. Just throwing a random theory about Kaiser here. If Fugetsu is one of Beyond's children (I believe Oito is his "plant" among the Royal Family, but she may not be the only one), and he's both manipulating himself and working for Beyond, a lot of things would fall in place. He's acting very protective about her, like, more than you'd expect of someone who's just using her for whatever his plan is. Coming in contact with Melody happens to allign with the whole "disrupt the succession war" thing that might tie up with Beyond's plans, having seen what she's capable of. Also, I don't know how the timeline lines up exactly, but it would be cool if the person Beyond called was Kaiser. The theories would go WILD. Either way, thank you for the video! I have a theory that Nasubi is the original king that created the objects that control the succession war. Either that or the objects were conjured and exist with post mortem nen. The circle of tombs having thirteen caskets with a main tank on the chamber. We see ancient writing on the floor as well. I'm wondering if all of the princes will die and Beyond's child will be put in the center. There are 14 because there's another prince we are unaware of. That or Nasubi puts himself into the center and forces post mortem nen into his body; strengthening himself and his lifespan. Then sacrificing everyone on board the ship strengthens Kakin itself. I think Nasubi has a plan but Beyond will ruin it all, causing the Kakin empire to fall. Getting into the mind of Togashi is almost impossible. Looking at the history and behavior of humankind is how Togashi tends to write. But he mixes it up and creates some twisted work.

... what if kaiser is a doppelganger? a conjured duplicate of the true kaiser,, but still has the same objectives as him? that way, he can both seem to not know nen and carry on with an objective, as manipulation is unnecessary and would require aura, making it suspect + revealing to have knowledge of nen. being a conjured body would implicate in having no "soul", or maybe that the double is not perfect, and for moral and practical reasons it is made without the ability to feel emotions, anyways that could explain the metronome-like heart, without the need for the alternative: "I am manipulating myself to show bodily signs of any emotion, + hide the fact that i am a nen user, even though i am using aura to manipulate myself right now". Plot twist: Turns out Kaiser is truthful but his hatsu is something like perfect lying. Or he's being completely truthful; which, I can see Togashi throwing at us. Imo, my main theory is that Melody is being used by Luzarus's nen beast; or he's our first example of pap we've seen. I guarantee we've met another calamity without knowing it. Again, Togashi either has this situation with Keiser and Melody as real; he's being manipulated; or he's been under a calamity we haven't witnessed with. Imagine both hell bell and a manipulator both have control of him. That'd be insane. Or a nen beast, a calamity, and a manipulator. Manipulators have first come/serve over other manipulation hatsu; however, calamities break the rules of nen in the human world. Regardless, Togashi has my full trust and faith. You may just misunderstood: Conjurers need Emission not to have them 'keep existing away-from-them' as i said, but indeed like you said if they wanna interact with them from away and also in the moment-of-creation; to SPAWN something away from you. So Conjurers dont make it rain, you could say My point was mainly that Conjurered Objects are clearly a total Exception to the 'Nen-Rule of Aura-Reduction-per-Distance' cause they act like Aura-Batteries like nothing else does. Kurapikachu literally doesnt care if a Victim of Judgement-Chain goes Continents away from him - this is so blatantly not Emission-Skill

What I'm really curious about is why Genthru doesn't have this limitation which Kurapika has. My guess is that Genthru has just a large amount of aura, Bisky even said that herself, Gon even compared Pitou's ability to Genthru's considering both can summon multiple conjured stuff at once and keep them active far away, he also used strong conditions for this ability. Plus, Genthru also said that he has large aura output than Gon's so that might answer why he can use emission efficiently.

Even in Emperor Time, Kurapika cant use Emission so well he doesnt care for Continents of Distance. If Netero was an Emitter even he couldnt do this, so no, not a Skill or a Restriction e dont konw of, that just doesnt check-out! Having said that, I see your point! Heres another interesting fact i see barely anyone ever discuss (bring in Manganmaist in here, c'monnn) and that's what Blinky, the Nen-Beast, tells us about Conjuration. Blinky can inhale everything except living things and objects made of Nen. The latter restriction enables her to spot traps. This is such a cool underrated aspect of Conjuration cause no one i recall did everr use this to their advantage again: You can give yourself the Skill to be a Master-Cook and have that Skill vanish if Bandits approach. So if you ever realize your Knowledge has temporarily dissapeared, you insta-know Bandits must be near. As i understand it, you Pay NOTHING for this 'Bandit-Radar' cause its a pure Weakness belonging to another Ability. You can 'infere' all kinds of stuff from your Nen
