I was so happy when they announced the new editions in my country, i do have the older editions but it's a scramble of omnibus and single volumes bc Mermaid Melody was also one of the first anime i found and watched. My favourite is a tie between Coco and Hanon!

I don’t know if you read this or not but I hope one day you read “Hokkaido Gals are Super Adorable”. It is a manga series that don’t got English copies. I seen Japanese copies however, it’s a great anime in my opinion and I think the story is amazing. Glad you got yourself an amazing Christmas gift for urself and I hope you have a happy holidays! 🎄

@@mangatama ah trust me you’ll love it, it’s about a high school teenage boy who moves into Hokkaido and he meets this girl and it turns out she’s amazing to be around and they get close. He’ll also meet other women too his age. But it’s definitely great if you wanted to learn more about Hokkaido during the winter and spring time!

A very good recommendation. I also really like *Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable*. It’s the first series where I read the manga, and it’s also the first manga I’ve ever finished all time lol. I also watched the anime as it was being released episode by episode, and it was amazing. Especially the ending in the manga-brilliant. Wishing you happy holidays with your loved ones!!!!!! 🎄🎅

Ahh the volumes are so pretty! I still have my original volumes of Kitchen Princess and they're definitely showing their age :,) I love reading them though

I have 100% read Kitchen Princess and I fell in love with it the first time I read it, it was so unexpected. It looked so sweet and innocent with cute and tasty recipes that I didn't think to look for anything to happen except a girl learning to follow in her parent's footsteps and become a chef/baker. It was also one of my first manga's I read when I first got into reading manga. I was very happy to get the omnibus when I could afford to later in life, and I also managed to get the singles which are rare to find. I hope to one day also get the Japanese volumes eventually! And YES! There absolutely needs to be an anime of this series!!!

Oh my god, I didn’t consciously recognize the mermaid melody manga in the thumbnail but I instinctively knew it was gonna be that 😂 So, wait wait wait…. Are those omnibuses?? Like, the complete series?? I used to have 2 or 3 volumes in english but i got rid of them a long time ago 😢if this is the whole series… oh my god, i need to get them xD I can still sing a lot of the mermaid melody songs, i loved it so much 😂

I think n3-n2 will be sufficient for most series, but you can start reading something like "Yotsuba To!" even if you're like n5-n4 👀
