Makes around 6 120mL cups
- 14g gelatin powder
- 100g water
- 125g hot water
- 35g sugar
- 250g (canned or fresh) mango puree
- 250g whipping cream (or evaporated milk)
- mango
- evaporated milk
* I used canned sweetened mango puree, so I used less sugar. Please adjust according to th sweetness of your mango

Hi, I have a question: Can I somehow substitute the gelatin with agar agar? I am a vegeterian, but I would love to make this pudding. Btw, it looks delicious!😋🤤🥭🍮💛✨

Yes! Just make sure you adjust the liquid to powder ratio according to packaging! Depending on the powder you may need to boil it in order to activate it so please follow the packaging as well!

SOSO GOOD!! i didn't have gelatin, but in a makeshift hope to have a mango pudding, i took some vanilla jello rice pudding, blended some frozen mangos together, and it should be set chilly in the fridge by tomorrow 😭 tysm

My Gelatine did not solidify like yours did but I add into the hot water anyway. After I mix everything up the Gelatine kinda form into little pieces and was not totally combined

Agar agar texture is always different compared to gelatin, like more crunchy? But make you adjust the liquid and powder ratio according to packaging (also u may need to activate it by boiling it)

Yes! Just adjust the liquid to powder ratio as per packing, also some powders require u to bring to a boil in order to activate it so double check the packaging!

does coconut milk or oatmilk work as a substitute for heavy cream?

I haven’t personally tried but It might not be as creamy, especially with oat milk I don’t think I would recommend that. Coconut is more creamy so there’s a good chance that’s fine
