The more I research the inflatable boats,the more I want one. It looks like a fun and inexpensive way to explore lakes and rivers. I especially enjoy the shallow waters and these boats are perfect for that. Thanks for sharing.

They are! They're so maneuverable too, you get to get in more places and see more stuff. It's like having an ATV out on the water.

I purchased the same setup. Thanks for all your info and great videos. I have the white Bris and 6 hp Hangkai 2 stroke. I am srill breaking it in and having problems with the motor stalling after I run it wide open throttle for a few seconds. It stalls every time. I am not sure if my mixture has too much oil in it. It starts right up every time after it stalls. So the idle seems ok. I remember you said you adjusted the idle, could you respond to my problem and show how you adjusted your carb?
@HufflerGarage3 жыл бұрын
We had to do this on both engines and what we did was put the idle screw all the way in and turn it back out 1 and 1/4 turns and that got it back going again. If you have trouble let us know and we can make a video about it tomorrow.

@@HufflerGarage thanks for responding and thanks for the help. My 6 hp is idling fine and starts right up, but it stalls after I run it wide open for a few seconds and then back the throttle off to idle. It stalls every time. It is frustrating. So the idle screw is the one with the spring on top of the carburetor? I want to make sure I am turning the right screw. We need to start a forum for these motors. I also think upgrading the prop might give a little more power. What do you think?
@HufflerGarage3 жыл бұрын
The screw facing up is the idle speed adjuster, the one on the side of the carb with the spring is the idle air mix. Both of our motors had the same problem right around the end of the break in period and 1 1/4 turns fixed both of them. When the first motor started having issues, I fiddled with it forever. I could only get it to run on half choke. When the second one started doing it, we knew exactly what to do and had it fixed while out on the water. A forum would be nice. Get on any of the existing forums and a bunch of people who have never owned a Chinese motor will tell you they are junk and to spend triple the $$$ on something else. Someone else has suggested changing the prop out to plane easier, I'm very interested in trying it.

Any other differences between the two boat besides the length?
@HufflerGarage2 жыл бұрын
The red one is 1 inch wider and is shaped slightly different. It also does not have the rope going around the entire boat. With the same motor on both, the red one is maybe 1 MPH faster.

Can you transport the Hankai engines in a hatchback without leaking oil or gas all over??
@HufflerGarage3 жыл бұрын
Yes. Just make sure the correct side is up. I've transported it in my girlfriend's back seat and in the back of an SUV. No leaks.

Can I attached a roof on those boats?

Yes they sell a bimini top to go on them.

Well, just got back after trying to adjust the idle and now it is way worse. I cant seem to keep it running and it drops power as I throttle up and then shuts down. Also, if I go wide open, It can only hold that power for a few seconds and then starts to stall and back off. No way I should be having these problems on a brand new motor. I think I am going to return it and get a Merc. Tired of messing with it.

Just for your info a US gallon is 3.8 liters an imperial gallon is 4.54 liters.
@HufflerGarage3 жыл бұрын
We know. It's just funny that we ordered a 12 Litre fuel tank. It was marked "3 U.S. Gallons" on the side, and when we filled it to the 3 U.S. Gallon mark, it took 3.6 U.S. gallons.

Imperial is UK gallons

HAHHA! WHY BUY A CHINESE ENGINE? A 20 YEAR OLD PROPER BRANDED ENGINE WOULD BE MUCH MORE RELIABLE
@HufflerGarage3 жыл бұрын
I'd rather have something brand new then some ragged out old outboard. 1 year later and both Chinese engines still start with 1 pull every time. Cheap enough to throw away and buy a new one of it ever catastrophically breaks. There are Chinese companies that make some pretty decent stuff these days if you know where to look. Japan used to be known for making crap at one time too :).
