the not placing your subject right infront of their background was the best tip to me I never knew this and Ive been shooting for almost two years in portrait photography this is a detail Im definitely going to use!
@Jasmine_Sangma4 жыл бұрын
You can place your subject right in front of the background and still get a great photo but from a different perspective. I didn't like the photo they showed for reference where the subject was away from the background. I am not saying I do that but I have seen some great photos using that composition.

I've been following you a few months now and I have to say it, I love your channel. The information is clear, the videos are not three hundred hours long and the overall aesthetic is just pure love. And yes, this video just needed to be done, so thank you. Lots of love from Spain! x

I took a long exposure of a jetty this morning. I knew as I was taking it it was an over used corny composition, but as it was over Windermere to the snow covered Langdales I let myself off. Unfortunately I left the old mobile at home with the app that calculates the reciprocity rule for long exposures for film, so I had to shoot digital and didn’t let myself off. The jetty was in a boating club, and my breathing is really bad at the moment, so I went into the reception and asked for permission and if my wife could wait for me near by in the car. The first thing the guy in there did was to ask if I needed an ambulance, he then gave us permission and let us off the parking charges, that was the best let off. It’s been an interesting morning just to get an over used corny composition!
@MangoStreet6 жыл бұрын
Hahah, we’re all allowed to be as corny as we want! Glad you’re okay! 👍

Using clarity depends on the style you're looking for. I personally, use a bit of clarity, but in my current work I will mainly use dehaze. That's just my style. You find you.
