Maybe Grim girl is a Grimm guy alt, to see how far he can get whilst remaining undefeated. Or maybe these Grimm "alts" are really professional chessplayers, having a bit of anonymous fun in a game where seeing positions and understanding risk is a great boon. The way Grimm guy ends up in good positions after having brawled certainly doesn't speak against that theory.

For the lighting issue, you can keep using the lamp brightness as you do. But OBS Studio, which I am pretty sure you use, has built in filters you can apply on each video source (which you probably already do), you can do contrast and color correction this way to make yourself look more natural.
