The 24" has been my bike of choice all around. Perfect for city streets,trails and boardwalk. I love 20" for tricks and MTB for hardcore trails but being 6'3" I prefer the cruiser all around ! I used to ride it 5 miles every day to work cutting through back yards empty lots sidewalks etc. saved a lot of time and $ and had FUN

Sorry for the lack of tricks guys, when I took this vid I just recovered from heart surgery and it just felt good to be back on my bike on a nice summer day. The bike is a HARO 24" cruiser. I'm 6foot4 190lbs so a 20" is like a kid's toy to me. I don't like fixies or "tour de France" kinda shit. After riding the streets of NYC and Berlin for the last 35 years, this format bike works the best for me.

24" is great for getting around in cities, had been thinking of getting one for ages.. finally got it, and i stopped riding my 28" completely as it's just so clumsy compared to 24". 24" accelerates & corners so much better.

awesome. after overdosing on bmx edits i do keep expecting you to hop bits of street furniture and double peg the benches you approach, but it's great just watching you weave around your city. cruisers are goldilocks bikes. 26" street bikes are a bit too big, 20" wheel bmx is just a bit too small... 24" is just right!

Hey how long does it take to get from the manhattan and brooklyn bridges up towards Central Park--we are going to be up there in 3 weeks and riding again from Fort Lee Jersey (Bronx)--to Central Park--but this year we are going the distance--it took about 3hours to complete the loop but again about how long is it from Central Park to Brooklyn bridge---thanks

Thanks for posting this vid----seeing the areas around Times Square brings back memories on crappy rainy days in KY--My cousin and I go to a Yankee game every year and May 21 2011 we rode our bikes from Fort Lee, NJ down to Times Square and it was an almost identical day, weather wise---Awesome video and thanks again--and I hope everything is back on track

matti_p I'm with you man, I'm not nearly as tall or big (I'm 36 and "only" 5'11 185lbs) but after having grown up racing/riding BMX (as a kid if I wasn't riding my bike I was watching RAD or building trails in the woods) I moved onto 26" Freeride/DH/Street bikes and I've found that a 24" Cruiser is absolutely PERFECT for riding around the city and still being able to cover ground quickly and hit the odd park/session spot for a while. I will say though I LOVE my Sunday Model C cause it's a 24" that's made to ride exactly like a 20" bike which I love after years of Race geo'd cruisers. Hope you've healed well from your surgery and are back on the bike. Cool perspective vid and glad to see you out riding.

Definately, the rear end of a 24" is smaller. smaller chainstays & lighter front help a lot

Do you have a longer seat stem or do you just ride standing up? I like the 24" cruisers but am am wondering about their practicality. To ride to the centre of Amsterdam is about 10k from my neighbourhood for example. Is this doable?

elmanitasdeplomo I ride standing up most of the time I used to commute about 10 km on a 24" cruiser but would not recommend unless you have a fun way to go I'ts better for short trips around town to dodge traffic and pedestrians

24" is essentially a sprinter, also the standing up riding position makes it extremely powerful for steep uphills.
