it’s crazy how many people got into longboarding just because of this one video, myself included. the vibes in this video are just immaculate, it captures the essence of summer SO well. its been 9 years since I first saw this video. I watched it over and over and over again and it inspired me to buy my first longboard. I still come back to watch it every once in a while. I don’t ride as much anymore but I still have a longboard, and I try to ride at least a couple times every year 💛

Four years ago when I was 13, I saw this video and the very same day, I bought a pintail 40. This pintail made me get a C in chemistry, get road rash everywhere on my body, and purchase 2 more boards. This past summer I went out to western New Jersey to have some fun on the great country roads. I passed through a small town that seemed really familiar but I just couldn't remember where it was from. I just remembered that the town I passed through this summer was the same town at 00:25. I rode through the same town, on my pintail...crazy! Keep making dope videos and shred on!

I was 13 when i found this video, i was already craving a longboard but this video particularly got me into buying my first board. Now i've own more than 5 (2 of them broke in the middle of a ride). Long boards cool me down and make me calm that's why I love riding them! There so fun to ride to! I highly recommend long boards if your beginner on skateboarding or long boarding they are easier to ride since they are big enough for your feet to rest! Unlike a penny board they are too small for my comfert! But yeah !

This video / song sold me, I bought an Original pintail a few years back and skated every single day after school. After a few years I needed some extra cash so I decided to sell my trusty pintail on Craigslist. I met the potential buyer at a busy supermarket parking lot. He showed up in a suit and tie and turned out to be a 30- something year old preacher. I assumed he was buying my longboard as a present for his child, but as soon as I handed him the board he hopped on it and shredded around the parking lot like nobody's business. Preacher man could shred!

lauren sabino You'll be surprised at how quickly you'll be able to cruise and carve after a short amount of time. Sliding and cross-stepping will take you a little more time to learn. What's your weight/height? That's the best way to figure out which Pintail size will work for you.

i dont know if that question was ment for me or not, but it really depends on the style of riding you plan to do. there are so many options. personally i like drop-through decks but i've been riding skateboards for a long time so i wanted something different.

Ik woon ook in Nederland, tja bergen gaat indd niet lukken. Maar ik doe vaak dijken enz is ook wel leuk! Gelukkig neem ik me longboard altijd mee op vakantie :)

I bombed one hill without a helmet and no shoes in a tank top and shorts.... Got stiches and strawberries all over me.... Learned from my mistakes and now I wear a helmet with jeans and a t-shirt and now I can bomb any kind hill🤘🏽

Same thing happened to me, had to get rushed to the ER, it was worth it tho. Learned from my mistakes, know what I did wrong and now it's a lot easier knowing that I can do it

I think it worked that way generally the same for all of us who helped make it. 1) made us ride more 2) found one of our favorite songs. Still riding and still stoked when the swimming song some how finds its way to my ears. As an aside: if you haven’t already ring the notifications bell. Right now any new stuff I put out doesn’t hit anyone who watched the old videos because it’s out side the duration KZbin thinks things might still matter to anyone. megan ward we are lucky for sure but you can always match a board to whatever terrain you have. Poor pavement can be made up for in wheels many times and even though narrow roads make it a little more tricky when you start, they are actually a lot of fun once you get the hang of it : )

I fell in love with long boarding my sophomore year in high school. I’m in the army and feel so stressed all the time but I stumbled across this video and I’m going to buy an original longboard and start skating again to relieve some of this stress thanks you so much original skateboards!
