if you used crit chance up combos then it's a really good chance to get a crit but if you're using manic island you are probably using it for damage so use catasaurus at that point. but it is a good feature so you can kill metal enemies unexpectedly if you're using manic island

All the maniacs except maniac dark are good in my opinion, mostly because all except m. dark can pull their own weight to a certain extent.

As someone with over 16K UR and 1000+ Hours in the game, this is my opinion on their rankings Mohawk = A Tier (Best $75 meatshield by far) Eraser = S Tier (Best generalist meatshield) Axe = E tier (Spammable attacker. Sucks in almost every way but due to it's relatively low cost it can be used as an expensive meatshield in the Labyrinth or Legend Quest. Lion = D Tier (Forget about using this unit to deal any amount of damage because it usually dies before dealing any damage due to it's high knockback count. However does to its extremely high speed it can be used to beat some stages like Facing Danger or Meow Meow Day slightly faster. Its only other usage is to stall enemies with blindspots although they are usually supported by peons that cover said blindspot, so this is incredibly situational and niche) Macho Legs = A Tier (Good for clearing out weak peons and dealing chip damage to backliners) Flying = D Tier (This unit is almost useless by endgame due to it's incredibly low range and speed but it's an additional attacker for enemies that also have very low range) Island = B Tier (Decent anti-red attacker. Courier exists now which outclasses Island in most ways however due to the strong ability, it still possesses a decent healthpool for it's cost.) Dragon = C Tier (Long ranged attacker. Incredibly poor damage until you build up a stack which takes time and it also prone to being deleted in an instant by a wave/surge. Just use Talented Lil Dragon... it's so much better) Jameria = F Tier (Yeah sorry this guy is actually pretty good when you first get him... but god damn does he suck so much by endgame. $1950 for a unit with incredibly slow movement, a long foreswing, a low health pool and an 80% chance to not create a wave... which is it's only source of actual damage. If used perfectly in the right scenario with godly RNG then maybe... just maybe... this unit would not literally have it's sole purpose be outclassed by a jellyfish... lol. . Even with 200k health it would still be pretty underwhelming due to the flaws I mentioned earlier. He has like 80k though which means he will usually die before even getting close enough to begin his incredibly drawn out attack. Unlike all the others, even Manic Axe and Flying, this guy is just straight up useless. When you first get him he'll likely be a B or C tier unit but by the point of the game that I'm at, you'd be better off using half the nekolugas than this utter garbage) Superfeline = ??????????????????? One day, maybe.

I am still using Manic Flying very often because of attack up combo with Diabolosa - it's the only Manic unit (except for Manic Eraser) that is not outclassed (or that can be replaced) by any other cat in the game for my opinion

can you show the cats being used in normal levels that would be better to showcase the cats? With the metal hippo you can only really see the attack animation and how tanky it can be, not really its intended purpose.

@@nguyennamphuong9761 Bro it’s 2% you barely ever see it. If you are going to have a crit effect, make it matter. And if it’s for extra dps, why isn’t it just a savage blow? 2x damage every around 50 hits means nothing. There is 0 reason for it to be THAT low. And manic island isn’t a stacker unit like cameraman so the low crit chance is barely every seen.

@@minichimken Read the comment. I LITERALLY explained it there. You will barely ever see the crit chance and even when you rarely see it, it is barely noticeable with the slow attack rate and single target. While with cameraman, the low crit chance is somewhat mitigated from the stacking potential.

I agree that manic king dragon is in B because it's hard to chip in the damage a boss or beefy enemy when it's only attacking the meat shields for the beefy/boss enemy

Honestly manic mohawk is overrated, it is 99% of the time just outdone by dual erasers, which even then, crazed wall is still better to use than manic mohawk, so it's just outdone

It’s good for stages where you need more than the eraser duo as meatshields
