one of the only uses for pastry cat is the cool japan cat combo which is arguably one of the best cat combos in the game, making him not completely useless.

Cool Japan is a 4 slot cat combo, not the best most of the times. You are better running 2 small up combos like brave cutter + tiny ancient hunt. The effects are additive so two +10% attack cat combos > one 15% attack combo

People forget that cool Japan is a medium combo that can be combined with Ubers such as vars or vigler which actually ends up quite effective (also just can’t be asked to assemble others some times the units are easy to find in the menu)

in my opinion rice ball is S tier Becouse of the catcombos (cool japan, 2 slot combo with Vigler, 2 slot combo with Kai) and he is one of the few cats with toxic immunity/no gacha all of the immunity is nice too, though he is kinda expensive but overall I think he is S

Cool Japan has become a much worse combo with the introduction of newer cat combos, the other combos need ubers which most people probably won't have. I still would put him A though since he is a very good meatshield for 4 stars and can even be useful outside of 4 stars due to his immunities.

Dont buy any of them until you complete into the future 1, they are kinda worst gacha unit unless you buy talents, and for talent upgrade you need to complete itf so save them or use them in basic units like ninja or mr for speedrunning

For me, the best special cat who is good for begginers is brah cat and zombie, and the other ones, cat gang, sumo cat, and samba cat, brah cat can knock red enemies back, which is really useful in empire of cat, and zombie cat is strong against red enemies, cat gang and mr is 2 very good rushers, sumo cat and samba cat is really good for slowing down enemies and to do tons of damage at the same time if research time is 15 lvl.

I'd put fiend into B tier, heavily carried by cat combos. Riceball S tier for being the 4* fast meatshield and the medium research combo with Vigler, slightly above boogie cat. Maybe drop bondage cat a little, red is one of the two most power crept traits so being good against them isn't super valuable

I think lollycat was a bit generous in the ranking, I'd give them a B, I would move loincloth up next to beefcake solely because of cotc special only limitation they kinda carry if you combine their shield break with research combos, and then probably riceball up because he's a solid 4 crown meatshield while also being good combo fodder. Pretty solid list overall though
