It does not have developer to open the pores and deposit the color. So, 30 minutes is nothing. Most people leave the Manic Panic products on for an hour or more. Besides because you don't use developer you can leave it on overnight if you want and it won't do anything other than tone your hair.

I love Manic Panic.I have been using that brand since the 80's.I use the Virgin Snow toner often too after I bleach(have it on my head at the moment lol)going to put streaks of Electric Lizard through my hair later today.Sorry the toner did not work the way you were hoping.Great video,new sub.Blessed Be :)

Hello! so it's normal that the toner didn't work well because after your discoloration you reached the right lightening background. I would say that there is a natural base between 4 and 5, I advise you to use the blondme brand from schwarzkopf and to add their ash additive (they have three neutralizers: violet to neutralize the yellows, ash (blue) to neutralize the yellow orange tone and the green (matte) to neutralize the reds) I recommend the ash, just add this to your bleaching powder and oxidant mixture. since I switched to this brand I have never missed a blonde again! and in a single discoloration!!! you have to understand colorimetry to know which color neutralizes which color.

I love the manic panic bleach, it lifted the black out of my hair without me needing to do it a second time. 1977 ? I had no idea ! That’s awesome, 77 was a good year (especially in septembr hehe😉). Sorry thtoner didn’t work for you. I wonder if you would have left iin the full 30 mins, if it would have toned the yellow more. Great video hun !

I just gave myself some peekaboo highlights with the intention of dying them blue & teal using a mix of Pravana Vivids & Neons and Amplified Manic Panic. (direct dyes for life!) I'm giving my hair an Olaplex 3 treatment before I tone it with Amplified Virgin Snow, which I've never used, but I found your video when I was curious how I might expect it to come out. I understand you're used to salon toners that have developer, but Virgin Snow, as others have said, is exactly like their dyes in application. (I haven't used it, but I've seen it & used similar. It effectively is a dye, only extremely pastel.) If you had, say, cracked & kept it on for a week (until the nice people at the hospital washed it out for you), you'd definitely have very pale bluish hair. But after two washes with hospital shampoo (shield your heads, children) and one pleasant visit outside with the other patients, sitting in the sun, any blue would be gone. (Think of how very tough maintaining beautiful pastel hair is. 😭) Now I'm not saying you should have to have blue hair to have beautiful white hair. And to be fair we don't know what colour your hair would actually be once the blue had faded, because sadly you didn't really get to sink your hair follicles into it. But Virgin Snow has a few advantages: it's cheap, it's widely available, it's vegan & cruelty free and it's nearly impossible to mess up on a certain level. The worst it'll do is turn your hair blue-grey like an elf & very, very soft. (Even your two tone hair looked pretty darn awesome really. Maybe a different root colour?) But maybe another review at some point would be interesting. Anyway, thank you so much for giving it a go anyway! You're super cute & I love your nails & makeup, they just suit you down to the ground. You have a new subscriber!

One thing I'm curious about is what's the difference between regular Manic Panic & Amplified? I understand it's meant to stay longer... we've all heard the staining horror stories. Yeah I accidentally left my toner on for an hour on my bleached hair it’s might have ‘toned’ down the brassiness but it’s didn’t deposit any color like in your vid. I was disappointed.

I bought it months ago because I wanted to see if I can get that perfect Snow White hair. I was inspired by this character from Descendants and wanted to try it one day one. I would’ve left it on between 30 to an hour. Maybe a bit more since it conditions the hair and I would’ve gotten a better result. I am sorry you didn’t get the results you’re looking for though.

I bleach my hair, but because I am a real blonde, it never gets all the way white. So after bleaching, I use manic panic. omg. I am white. I always use this.

@@PatWallace Hi. I bleach as light as I can. It makes it lightest yellow like yours. Then I use the manic panic and it makes it all white. I don't know why it didn't work for you. I leave it on for an hour too because it's all natural and it won't hurt your hair at all. And then I use purple shampoo to maintain. Maybe you could do that? I leave that on once a week for longer too.

It didn’t work because you didn’t use basic color theory. Blue is the opposite of orange and yellow is the opposite of violet. So you should have neutralized the yellow with purple shampoo and then used this color.

This stuff troubles me. I cannot recall the secret to it. All I recall now, is there is a small bottle like you have or the jar kind and that you can leave this stuff on your head for hours no problem so don't stress. In factI would apply it in the liquid and in the jar mixed with pastelizer.

Not light enough by far, the hair was yellow orange not pale yellow so that means you were only at level 8. The follicle is under the skin 🙄 the best toners sit on for 20 to 45 minutes. Why would KZbin recommend this nonsense 🤦🏽‍♂️
