Manic Pixie Dream for Solo Bass Clarinet by Larkin Sanders

Manic Pixie Dream is a piece for solo bass clarinet inspired by the frenetic nature of contemporary dance music and singular, life-changing people and events. It was composed in April 2022 and will be premiered on June 15, 2022 during the Taneycomo Festival Orchestra’s 11th season. The work, in total, is about 7 minutes long and features a handful of extended techniques such as didgeridoo sounds and smears.
