Got this Album when I was in my early 20's 2004. This and Tsunami and probably Forever delayed were my favourites at the time!

Everything Must Go, This Is My Truth..., Lifeblood. My 3 top Manics albums. They are their most musically restrained and beautiful, personal and tender works, and yet still coruscating when needed. Where you really get a sense of the humanity at the heart of the band. Warts and all. Some of the best lyrics of their whole career. And some of James's greatest vocals/most inventive guitar work. Same with Sean's drumming and Nick's bass work. Nick is also lyrically open and honest on these albums it's painful to listen to. Great art, great legacy, great band.

This and 'Nobody Loved You' are pure gems which are very overlooked

nobody loved you is right, just quick and easy or have a family and hang on social media all the goddamn time or hang on social media and take selfies as a junkie and be a know it all afterwards,or nobody loved you because they dont love themselves... or hang on tvs and watch clowns preach knowledge from the book of the bible and heavenly father,or just nobody lovedy you because they think love is pornography....

This whole album is very underrated It doesn't get the same critical acclaim as some other albums due to its more "commercial" sound But the songwriting is still spot on

I have no idea why the band or the record company never decided to release this as a single! I never get bored of this masterpiece.

this song is amazing. I just tried listening to their last album resistence is futile and it was kinda awful. I suppose that's bound to happen when you're stuck making the same thing for 20 years...
