Praise God!
@bakedblessin3 ай бұрын
@@minalove6582you know Sis, I've got to jump in here on this thread and comment because in my opinion it's "praise God for real!" Why? I'm not sure if anyone else sees this or feels this but to me for so many decades we were told black hair cannot grow long or its long because someones genetics. It wasn't until I came across influencers especially this jewel - Farida aka Curly Proverbz who did the research and experimentation "with results" that have proven the nonsense to be just that nonsense. And I just have to say that it almost feels like God is opening up a storehouse of blessings to us people of colour 😉over the past while -fir some 10 years but for me the past few years after I did the big chop. And so now this "natural healthy hair arena" that is bringing so much joy, is just one of His powerful blessings to us. So I'm grateful. ☺️ Just sayin'. ❤️Love Curly Proverbz and all she does to consistently bring us the best content and information!

Highest score is nutrition for me. I love vegetables. The best for my har purple cabbage with onions. Next bellpepper stirfry. Best fruits gooseberries, blackberries, and dragonfruit I discovered last year. My favorite snack food is pumpkin seeds. I keep big bags of those around they are cheap. Walnuts and steamed pistachios are next. I drink hibiscus tea with apple, cinnamon, gloves, ginger, lemon. Olive leaves, guava, and cayenne pepper in the winter. I juice heavy in the summer. I discovered guava leaves stimulate hair growth, and olive leaves extend your antigen phase. I have both every day.

I’ve been using either the Henna, Hanna/Aloe. Amla, Amla/Bhringraj powders every other week. I add different essential oils to the mixture and use the fenugreek elixir drops on my roots and scalp , The Golden one on my hair shaft and ends and the lemongrass zen on my edges. My scalp tingles all the time like a good same good feeling tingle…it’s doing it right now and happens in different areas, right now it’s on my right side left front and middle of the back of my head. My hair has gotten super thick and retains a lot of moisture. I loooove you products Farida. Thanks for all you do.

I didn’t score as high on nutrition, only because I ate more desserts than I should have. 😅 But I ate well in terms of real food like salmon, fruit, plenty of water, etc. I scored well in all other categories; I wasn’t playing games last year! So this year I’ll stay the course. I’ve already checked my sweet tooth, so with prayer and consistency, gains are all I’m looking for in 2024! If the Lord says the same. Happy growing ladies! 🌺🌸

Honestly… I didn’t do great in 2023. I knew all my scores were low😂 I really have goals to gain inches this year and I want to do things consistently, not just obsessive for like 2 months and then drop off! Hoping to finally move past mid-back length 💪🏽

Thank you, CURLY!❤ I've a crazy woman with the daily supplements. Insanely taking out each box and piling my supplements on a napkin WHEN I HAVE MULTIPLE DAYS OF THE WEAK PILL CONTAINERS. I'm laughing at myself. Heads up, curly girls, some people are taking Geritol. But since I am expat and haven't seen it here yet in Egypt, I take Cod Liver Oil. Nasty as heck but rich in vitamin D, A, and of course fish oil. More than salmon. Texture is my hair issue. As the length changes, the texture changes, for the better. But it keeps me on my toes with maintenance.

My poor one was supplements. I really don't take supplements. I just eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, really? And I drink lots and lots of water. I love to oil my hair and moisturize my hair. And I do keep it protected. But since I've became a young adult after I got married. I just did not take any more supplements. especially since I graduated from college. I just ate lots and lots of fruits and vegetables. And I started drinking lots of water. This helps my hair my skin and my health. Thank you ever so kindly for the video. I hope and pray that you and your family have a wonderful weekend. God-Bless you 🪷 ❤❤❤❤❤

Farida…..This Video was very encouraging. Moving into using Aryuvedic herbs in my natural hair routine has been challenging. There is so much information…so many herbs and so much to learn about how to use them. My strands were not accustomed to Aryuvedic anything and so it’s been challenging for me to figure out what is good for my strands and what’s not a favorite…know what I mean? It’s ALL new to me and new to my strands. I am an excellent student and I am learning how to incorporate oils, leave-in’s for moisturizing and teas in between wash days. But Spring and Summer are coming up. The heat and humidity, exposure to the Sun and my own sweat (I sweat like a horse!) will require that I rethink what I do to keep my hair moisturized and protected in the hot/humid Summer months!! I spend EVERY NIGHT in CP classes here on KZbin and I am determined to master the use of Aryuvedic herbs, teas, masks and glosses regardless of the season!!! ❤️ So keep the videos coming!!!!!! 🥰😍

My eyes grew some. I was taking keratin hair supplements. But its 4 tablets a day. hyaluronic tablets for skin from the Vitamin shop. I have all the originals from your box. Still working on how to incorporate them all . I don't think you use them every week! My hair is not thick but has seen some improvement. Using onion juice with garlic for the past 2 weeks. Once wash day Saturday.

Maintenance girl, I'm doing my regular henna glosses with steam sometimes. Hair growth, not worrying about too much. It's gooseberry, aka amla fruit season in Egypt. Im eating them by the bag full, and they are cheap. Plus, in the colder months, I get massive hair growth like a fur coat. From October to March, it's unreal. Now adjusting my hair styles. Never do protect styles my beautician mom never trained it that way. Protecting from what? Got my hair combed every day. The maintenance is my key. I'm dreading the hot months. More effort because of sweating plus the humidity. Enjoying the low maintenance winter 😊.

1. I enjoyed this video. 2. I struggle with taking supplements consistently, meaning I’ll take them about 7-10 days and then stop. I drink coffee in the morning…black, so, would it be acceptable to take a multivitamin without eating something? 3. And I need to work on organization- in January I purchased various hair products and they are all sitting on my bathroom counter. Now I have the amla and henna and they’re also on the counter! It’s getting crowded. 4. Do you still have the mini calendar of what to do for hair routine? I saw a video yesterday about a calendar you had a few years ago but when I clicked on the link, it was a 404 Error. 5. And yes, I would like to see more videos like this one.

Hello Curly. Long time subscriber here. My biggest challenges were moisturizing and protective styling. I fairly decent with eating & supplements. I also have 3 children now, so I realize the importance of having a routine for their hair & myself (mom always get the short end of the stick now 😅). We travel a lot and this makes sticking to a routine difficult. I’m coming to London in two weeks and would to pick up some natural hair goodness/products for our 8 week trip in Europe, so I can moisturize & seal our hair. Afro hair products are hard to come by in Europe, so can you recommend some stores in London I can stock up on?? Help a sister out, thank you ❤
