Lufthansa is returning to Manila next year and it will be a direct non stop flights from Frankfurt.

I believe it’s not yet confirmed. Though there are talks to resume flights between the two cities

@@aerowanderer The last time I fly with Lufthansa was in 2007 on the Airbus A340-600 from Manila to Frankfurt via Guangzhou and I really admire the professionalism of its flight crew the sad reality is that there are no direct flights to Europe, hopefully others like Air France could soon return to Manila also Finnair is a welcome addition flying direct from Helsinki Vantaa.

@@aerowanderer I'll be heading to France 🇫🇷 in December via Air France on Premium Economy from Hong Kong to Paris Charles De Gaulle and witness the reopening of the world famous Cathedral de Notre Dame restored after being destroyed by fire in 2019 and taking the scenic cruise along the River Seine, Bonjour Paris 🗼 and hopefully soon Air France will soon fly directly to Manila from Paris Charles De Gaulle, Bonne Chance.

It can be a great airline if your flying the newer A321neos A330s and A350s with the updated cabins. I think they excel in the onboard service, catering. A lot of times they pass around amenity kits even if the flight is 5 hrs so, it can be good. They’re dealing with an aircraft shortage right now so there are a lot of cancellations and delays which messes with their bottom line, but I think they’ve been improving the last few years
