Manipulation or flirtation? | How can we distinguish?

When it comes to interpersonal contact that means a lot to us, we can sometimes be very clumsy. That alone is not a problem. But when an insecurity with the encounter leads a person to try to gain control of the situation or another person in a manipulative way, the possibilities of that contact are destroyed.
The field of flirting shows itself to be a helpful indicator in the question of how we can identify manipulation - if we do not fall into the trap of confusing flirting with techniques designed to upset the other person to the point of weakening them in order to gain power over them.
On the other hand, flirting (if that is indeed what it is) can make possible in a wonderful way experiences that make us remember a form of joy in life that is due to all of us.
