Just two days ago Supreme Court cancelled criminal proceedings against the army men for killing 13 innocent villagers of Oting. These army men with their license to act with impunity have a blood curdling track record of brutalities and human rights violations in Nagaland and Manipur especially. From raping women to indiscriminate killing, fake encounters and harassment they are faraway from the moral crusaders they are touted to be. Many of these uniformed service men are also involved in drug trafficking for extra cash but it’s all kept in the shadows. All I know is they don’t care about us, our lives don’t matter to them and they will dispose of us for their bigger political agenda of divide and rule.

This kind of retired Army Officer's assessment itself is the root cause of ongoing Manipur Crises. They have forgotten their own assigned roles in such conflicts. Their understanding is very much biased by choice. They are also happily trying to cover up the ground reality that the top ranking officers of Manipur Police at the outbreak of the violence in May'2023 were all from Kuki communities and they were directly or indirectly facilitating kuki militants in flaring up the violence. Then how come the kukis trying to blame Meitei Police. Lt. General Kalita's statements against the Meitei communities and Meira Paibis are extremely condemnable. Kuki regugees and Kuki militants who are not less than dreaded Terrorists by their inhuman acts are the aggressors against Meiteis and trying desperately to disintegrate Manipur which will never be allowed at any cost.

Why they say AR helped the KUKIS is because whenever the meitei millitants along with their state force, CDO tries to attacked Kuki villages the AR retaliated by doing blank fire at them. So, they want the AR to be removed from the hills and attacked the KUKIS villages without anyone stopping them. The meitei will try to report or make false statement on anyone who tries to stop them from burning/attacking any kuki villages.

In Kwakta, armed Kookies crossed the so called buffer zone and shot death father son duo sleeping. The assailants were chased by Manipur Police but were blocked by AR. In Sugnu, the AR blocked the police station gate by parking multiple armoured vehicles while armed kukis patrol nearby. There are numerous similar instances. The buffer zone as enforced by the AR is a one way traffic. So how is it neutral?
