After beginning to have an existential crisis I began studying different denominations of Christianity which lead to studying outside of Christianity and God lead me to you 😊 After listening to you and continuing my other researchfor about a month I now believe I'm half Jewish and half Christian lol. I don't have a name for that 😂. You have kept me grounded during this journey. When I wanted to give up and just claim a denomination cause it's easier but I don't want to lie. I believe in God. I don't know his name but when I cried out from the depths of despair He found me there in the dark. I now know that, at least for me, I'm saved, I'm good I'm his book because he told me so 👍. My relationship with God is mine, no one else has had my experience with Him. Doesn't make me right or wrong and I don't feel the need to label my faith whatever it may be. Thank you so very much for your wisdom and helping me dig out of the darkness I fell into. You sir are blessed and very gifted! May you continue to reach more humans around the world! Cause after all no matter the labels we claim we are all human and pink in the middle once you remove the outside. Thank you again Rabbi❣️

We are indeed trapped in a thought system. On a very deep level we have two lives overlapping each other at the same time. We have the physical body that has needs to be in equilibrium and feel safe and a spiritual mind or soul that feels distant because it sits quietly in our higher mind giving advice but the animal mind drowns it out. Gods energy descends to its lowest point and joins to make subsance. That substance evolves and we get plants, animals etc. They fulfill their function because they dont have a choice. God took man and trained his mind. He said learn from all these thought systems and enjoy playing together but do not look at THE THOUGHT OF GOOD AND EVIL. Because if you do, you will get lost in self thought. You will feel alone and seperated and take energy to build a world that is of your creation and not mine. So we created animal bodies in our world that God supports out of love for our free choice. God delivers a soul to the bodies. God sees through our eyes and so sees what is outwardly false and connects inwardly to give us truth. Like Babylon, we create a world out of the desert that is full of wonders but expensive. We sell our souls to buy icons that give little real joy. But we get trapped because we feel like individuals fighting to make the body happy. We fail because we are looking for loving connection. Drugs and sex give us a warm connection or feeling that is transient. God created his people to connect to each other in a safe loving inviroment where they could learn over many generations to reconnect to God. As God is equally connected in all ways, so God wants us to be connected in love but different in our thought makeup. This allows freedom to think on a large scale. God asks us to come from his energy and to accept life. Living in ones own thoughts unconnected to God is living in darkness.

The opposite of addiction is connection and Conscious Contact with G-d. Balance in all things and a Life on G-d’s terms. Each and every time in which I break any of these three rules, I suffer. Whenever, I make conscious contact and take the next indicated step I feel relieved. “When self becomes everything then life becomes nothing.”

I just had a thought of something I heard from a woman in South Central. She suffered enormously and she taught me: “You are you and I am I You are not here to live up to my expectations and I am not here to live up to yours and the day we meet in the middle life is beautiful. In the end it does not matter. Everybody’s feelings and thoughts are valuable. For me its judaism Others its Christ Others its Mohammad All are amazing when they bring us closer to G-d.

I don't always find life to be all that wonderful. Still I now understand that I am made in God's image. I cannot find my fulfillment outside of God. The great sin is to attempt to be God or god. We are created on the sixth day. We are incomplete whereas God is represented by the number seven. We attempt to play God or god, that life centers around us, when we should orbit around God and our life should center around God and we should serve Him and love one another and enjoy God and one another for eternity. God has no needs. I do have needs. I need God but God does not need me though He loves me and I need that. Without God I am lost. I have the need to be found.

If you do not know who you are in essence, you won't find happiness. The problem is that we confuse pleasantness ( temporary positive experiences ) with happiness ( a durable state of being ). It is not wrong to seek some pleasantness in life, it is wrong if you expect happiness to come from it. Pleasantness is an outward experience, happiness is an inward state of being,

Rabbi Friedman is a hustling styled salesman & masterful orator. His audaciousTorah citations are manipulatively designed to persuade, convince & indoctrinate that it's gotta be God's way no matter what. Presented with a plausible summation, by a quasi staged Rabbi/Actor, YT performances are generating very substantial revenues-income from ads and subscriber clicks. A Real Smartie !

Dear Mr. Friedman. The question begs to be asked: but for what purpose? Let's zoom out for a second from the view of the current generation. HaShem has given us a tool with which we can look into ourselves and see what needs be fixed. I totally agree that it can be dangerous just as a sharp knife in the hands of a child, but why not teach them how to use it instead of turning them away from such a wonderful and meaninful creation? Moshiach is here, the time is now. We have to find purpose in everything and uncover everything that has not been uncovered previously. Know that people can benefit from it, as in everything is for the good. Not to feed their narcissism, but to grow in love for Hashem. Much love.

I think you are so correct about everything except the notion that there is something somehow more ok with alcohol than with other drugs. That alcohol gives you a gentle reprieve from reality but any other drug (including and especially cannabis) is an escape from life does not fit my own experience or that of working with addicts and alcoholics for 35 years. I argue that your perception is culturally apologetic, but inaccurate.

Might depend on the child. I felt it as far as my memory goes back to (four) without being able to articulate that belief. Frustrated, confused, and hopeless without any way to speak or anyone to speak to. You say never as though it is not possible for children to become tortured and tired of existence. A child brain may not have learned the vocabulary words to verbalize that statement but they have the development to experience despair, disappointment, and disapproval with the reality of an environment they did not choose to exist within.

narcissism in a rabbi? don't you know moses was the most humble man on the face of the earth? he spoke with G-d directly. You deny G-d for a competition of love when G-d is love and love was heard by moses. moses would punch you dead for what you claim about his people don't you know he is praying in his grave for them? you are a liar in envy. do not watch rabbi's video if you wish to contradict yourself in the comments. it is better for you if only you knew that the Masih is here today or tomorrow when the two camps are divided.
