GD Ferrari! 75 mph! Holy cow, that's moving for a big machine like that! To bad you couldn't video the lift, oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles. Thanks for the video.

Duncan MacKenzie, 73. 😉 It's no Ferrari, but it does have a Mercedes engine in it. 🙂

Thanks for taking us along for the ride. If this is a ultralight crane at 50 ton possibly some bait caster action with in sometime. Still would love to see you cast Andy on the Gravely in search of the big bass. Have a good week Jimmy.

Jeff Pratt, the 200 ton will be an ultralight tomorrow. I'll have all the main boom out and all the jib on it. Total boom length will be 320 feet. Tip height will be right around 330. Or the length of a football field with both endzones.

I’ve been thru Rock Port before but it’s been awhile. Looking forward to the upcoming footage, be interesting to see the process of getting it all setup. Keep up the good work!

Elite Earthworks LLC, I'm hoping the contractor will let me record onsite. If not, I'll see if they will let me take pictures. Then I can turn them into a slide show. It will be a nerve wracking day for me though. I'll have 320 feet of boom in the air. 😳

Good sounding rig and I really thought it was an Allison. Good old Allisons.

That rig must have decent sized engine, it seems to get down the highway pretty well.

So I'm assuming it's cheaper to bring the small crane out and do part of it and then bring the big one out to finish than to do it all with the big one? I also assume there customer gets charged for road time as well? Sure wish you could have recorded it and I know you do to. Thanks again and be safe.

Mark Mortensen, all of your assumptions are correct. Hopefully I'll get some footage tomorrow. If nothing else, I'll get some video of crane assembly. I just got done putting a camera mount on my hardhat. 😉

To The Top Crane --That should be some great video. I have seen a few others put the camera on they're hat and it gives a great view. Sure hope they let you video the job. Take care.

Mark Mortensen, quick update. I got some footage of some of the crane assembly. But, none of the tower construction. We will have some pics though. So, my next video in a few days will have crane assembly and a short slide show.

To The Top Crane --That's really nice to let me know about that. I guess that big boss didn't want any cameras on the job? Thanks again.

What's the GVWR and engine on that one? Seemed to move pretty good.

It weighs around 76,000 lbs, and has a 400 or so horsepower Mercedes in it with and Allison auto.

I'm just a little behind on videos. Too bad the cell phone tower is top secret. lol.

What do you call it, Tiny
@ToTheTopCrane6 жыл бұрын
Lawn Commander, in comparison to the 200 ton crane it is pretty small. However, for a boom truck, it is on the bigger side. So, I guess I'm not sure what to call it. You name it, and I'll go with it. 😉
