it's definitely interesting how it's rural if you aren't in a city, that's so unique

Been excited for this one, nice time as always, thx for not taking first place 😹 i see lots of good recs in the comments already, but one restaurant I will add to the list is Shorty's Pizza. Easily my favourite pizza in the city.

Let’s go my home province. Also Winnipeg is so underrated when it comes to our restaurant scene. My personal favourite is Kevin’s, it’s amazing. Anyway have so much fun when you come here!!

Manitoba is the most underrated province imo. Places in Wpg to see include the forks, the new aviation museum,the Manitoba museum, the Human arights museum, St Boniface cathedral, Fort Whyte, Assiniboine park, Lower Fort Garry, and a stay at the fort Garry hotel to name a few. Outside of Wpg Gimli depending on what time you are there, Whiteshell provincial park, Riding Mountain National park, the geographic center of Canada just east of Winnipeg, Steep Rock, The narrows, and I'd say Churchill but that's a very far trip. I obviously missed alot of places as Im now a NB resident and don't live there anymore so feel free to add to the list

Go to Mongo’s Grill in Winnipeg. Build your own stir fry. Great food

Grew up in Altona, currently living in Winnipeg. Here are my suggestions for food: Colosseo has some amazing italian food. Leopolds Tavern, there are a few throughout the city and their poutine is phenomenal. And for some things to do: The forks is good to walk around, and the canadian museum of human rights is there as well. Assignaboine park/assinaboine park zoo. Birds Hill Provincial park. Tried to compile a list that's kinda unique to Winnipeg, Leopold's tavern is a western Canadian thing though. Hope you enjoy your trip to Manitoba! Ps. Pembina is pronounced pem-in-a, and if you're around the Pembina Valley the provincial park there is quite beautiful once the leaves are on the trees.

I've been to Manitoba many times (I'm from MN and have friends up there). Assinboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg isn't huge or anything, but it's a beautiful place. The whole of Canada is pretty beautiful, though.

I was born in Winnipeg but haven’t been there in 20 years. I do remember some cool dunes and a park where you can see tens of thousands of garter snakes
yeah, here in the southern parts of manitoba there are many french speaking towns.

interesting that you got some locations from the last update before the changes in the specific locations that you got, because they did have a few rounds of updates in Manitoba recently.

the only good food is lime spaghetti factory in the forks, but you should also go to the aviation museum of western Canada.

You have to go eat at Baraka when you are in Winnipeg. Kebabs/donairs/shawarma. Local favourite by many including myself

Love Winnipeg visited then drove east toward Kenora Gotta admit Red River valley north from MN to Winnipeg is not the most exciting scenery unless you like flat vista to the horizon but great agriculture soil
@chimolegend39146 ай бұрын
you came across a sign that said 128N which in Manitoba means its 128 Miles North of the US Border.
