The thing with this game is just that it’s so geared towards kids. Like in mkwii you have so much more control of the way the vehicle moves and the game is just so much less forgiving of mistakes which makes it so much better competitively. Stuff like smart steering is also stupid. If you can’t keep yourself on the course with your driving, you should go off the course and lose significant time.

one time on third lap, near the end, i had bowser junior [2nd place] hit me with a blue shell while i was in 1st, when I was in 2nd, i got 3 red shells, threw them, and they all aimed at bowser junior and won 1st place and got the triforce cup
