If you are going to the main places that 'everyone' thinks they should see, you are missing the gems. Most of the places you think are significant have been marketed to seem so. Typically there are secret spots that are far more beautiful and historically significant, and if you are traveling just so you can take selfies in front of the landmarks, you've got it all wrong.
