This is such a... sweet game, in a weird way? Like, sure, the protag is clearly a dangerous assassin, and the "pet" can easily devour an entire city, depending on how he is fed... but their relationship is surprisingly sweet. The art itself is very pleasant too and contributes to the feeling. I guess the "downside" is that this is an artstyle that doesn't really feel like body HORROR to me - I find it too pretty and not at all disgusting or anything. But well, I don't actually mind, honestly. It's just that if I was asked to describe the game, I'd say it's "cute horror", not "body horror"! Hector deserves all the petting and all the sweets!

It's actually an anime-esque subset of body horror, designed to either be cute or provocative enough to keep the person from reading to much into it on the immediate and thusly lure them into watching or playing the entire work before the horror catches up to them. Of course there are many ways it doesn't quite reach the same level of creepy as intended for people but that goes for all horror works after all, fear is a subjective and finite thing.

I'm not sure where the conditional logic is stored within RPG Maker VX games are, but it was easy enough to find some text about the various endings. Some of the letters are used twice. A - Tiny (1:27) B - Dog (16:08) Imperfect Humanoid Endings - C - Sweet Tooth Humanoid - Similar to E, but without a hunger and just a sweet tooth? - D - Basic Humanoid (7:53) - E - Hungry Humanoid (11:19) - F - Very Hungry Humanoid - Similar to E, but with a hunger for flesh instead of candy. Humanoid Endings - F #2 - A Gentlemen - Similar to H, but without the sweet tooth. - G - Team Play - He's decently competent, acting as a distraction with his conversation skills. The two team up. - H - Dessert (14:10) - I - Strong Urge (18:33) Half Eldritch Endings - J - Bookworm Half Eldritch (17:15) - K - Housemate Eldritch (12:23) - L - Sweet Tooth Half Eldritch - Apparently he tries to cook sweets in this state. - M - The Hunger - Apparently has eaten nearby homeless men. Eldritch Abomination Endings - N - Sweet Tooth Eldritch Abomination (5:26) - O - Eldritch Abomination Take Over (3:10) - R - World Domination... But With Tiramisu - You hit up a nearby dessert shop with your pet. Whilst the cashier is screaming, you snag some tiramisu. - R#2 - World Domination - Instead of Tiramisu, you opt for a steak. - P - Good Big Dog (9:27) - Q - Eldritch Abonimation Rising? - Appears to be similar to P, but missing the dialogue starting at 9:52. Played the game the endings are slight variations. There are 21 endings according to the creator. Some other endings manly didn't show that are somewhat hard to gauge points: - Ending C Sweet Tooth Humanoid - Ending F The Gentleman (human flesh 10? in final human form. your human-shaped eldritch pet is able to eat with manners and enjoys conversation with you about cuisine. Hector does not crave human flesh.) - Ending G Team Play (human flesh < 10 sweets < 10 in final human form. Your human-shaped eldritch pet is able to hold conversations very well with others and you work well as a team to kill targets. isn't much of a food connoisseur.) - Ending M The Hunger (during half humanoid half eldritch form it attacks a homeless man, and you offer the solution for it to hunt more animals. Basically the same as Ending I but different form.) -Ending R World Domination (human flesh >20 in its eldritch flesh tree form) The best ending is Ending R World Domination with Tiramisu. Your Handsome Eldritch Pet does not just consume the city it expands to the world meaning you don't have to work your assassin gig anymore and you go together to the dessert shop.

The overfed endings remind me a lot about this old game called "Song of Saya" where the main character suffered from an accident that only let him see the world as a gross amalgamation of flesh

There is a even more plant like form you missed out on. I am not sure about a more human like form or any other kinds yet as I have not tried doing that yet. I will say you will need to feed it faster to get most of the stuff you missed.. ( Keep in mind I do think you got most of them tho )

I am remind of Saya no Uta. But I'd argue he is cuter than Saya, it might be the artstyle and his adorable love of sweets. I like the idea of an assassin with an eldritch monster as a side kick.
