Those bikers had a lot of faith in the crossing being smooth! I used to ride in that area about 16-17 years ago and enjoyed watching the trains. The trestle is really impressive to see, nice camera work!

I also watch it of Pentex's "Eastern Kentucky"Coal" of trains hauling coal in the Appalachian Mountains of hauling black diamonds from mine to market Of CSX carrying coal to keep our lights on

My dad worked the pushers for many years on the Chattanooga sub. The pushers are the retirement home of the Chattanooga sub 😂😂😂. That’s where the guys go to work their last years.

The Only Other location I’ve seen Manned Helpers consistently used is in the Horse- shoe Curve in Altoona, PA, on Pittsburgh Line in Norfolk Southern Territory. 🤔👍

If you’re ever in TN they run them 24/7 on the Chattanooga sub. The Cowan pusher district. We also have a rail fan cam at our museum in Cowan, so you can watch it on KZbin.

Manned Helpers are Not used as much as some think. They assume there may be someone inside it. Crew Points do have Addl. Crews in Units up front. 👍
