This reminds me of the other day and I was just thinking , What if all brands stopped sending pr packages to all the influencers. They spend so much more giving them freebies and some don’t even do an unboxing. Let them buy and bring their prices to the brands then the brands can decide. Smh. I personally don’t always buy stuff because of recommendations but the quality of product and if it’s good for me. I think it’s the brands who actually pay that amount of $$ to these influencers that caused the problem....the only influencer I actually trust is Jeffree bc he’s not beholden to any one. He has his own products he promotes himself , and he does reviews with wear tests and not sponsored. The code he has now with Jouer has proceeds going to charity. The Mannys, Laura’s, etc are too obvious with their biased reviews, look at all the brand trips they’re on! I’m also neutral on Marlenas video simply bc if her products are bomb and can stand on their own , like Jeffrees, why blame the influencers you won’t pay with your company’s lac of success?🤷🏻‍♀️

She has always been the most transparent, honest, and kind person, she runs her game with full integrity. She has been through hell and high water (see her health, dermatology, and surgery videos). She has been at this game a long time, and has been bringing us affordable dupes and honest opinions since at least 2008. That's ten years of experience, imagine how different youtube was then! I am always gonna be in her corner, heck I'd stand on the road side spinning signs for free for MUG, so to see her come out with something on all this tea, you know how crazy it has gotten. She is not a drama mama, look how down to earth she was in her video. At the end of the day, some fall off their high horse, where others have walked the whole way on their own two feet.
