I had a hard time agreeing with the punch stats I know they’re never 100% right and Thurman landed some good shots on Manny but Manny blocked a lot of Thurman’s shots with his arms and gloves, I kept saying it to my family the whole fight. The elbow defense is really a escrima style, catching and absorbing the opponent's punches with your elbow. It's a dirty tactic because you can hurt your opponent's fist with your elbow, but it's highly effective.

Manny unfortionally took some body shots and punches that usually don’t gas him out in the later rounds. He showed greatness but I rather him not walk through these punches his age and the amount of fights he’s been fighting can all lead to issues if not avoiding these hard blows. The tactics of manny will continue to evolve and grow, I just hope he defends him self better and avoid these hard punches and body shots he took from Thurman.
