I've tried and tried to give up drinking and smoking for the past years and I failed but gave into cravings, now that I attend a church and participate in a lot of the things they do, street preaching, church concerts,church services and all that, but I thank god, gives me tears of Joy everytime, I use to be a drunk,smoked all the cigarettes and that but now I'm 5 months going strong! Brother, I applaud your struggle, but please don’t become apathetic. Addiction is a devil who hides in the Darkness, waiting for us to become weak again so he can drag us back down. We must never allow ourselves to drop our guards, because one thing you can be sure of, the addiction wasn’t gone whilst we were beating him. God is realy an amazing God He works in way we cannot see. I was also like Mr. Manny drinking,womanizing(no sex involve) , bar hoping for I was a band vocalist . It was one moment that changed my life after all of those that I did to my body it caused me to be sick badly. I was hospitalized because of too much alcohol consumption and not taking care of my body . The pain was unbearable when I was in the hospital bed. I called Jesus for help and miraculously I did received an intant relief I also promised to God that I will change before I called him . Right now I am happy that I am not into drinking liquor , stopped singing worldy songs I left my band and all the fame and attention that we have. My joy in singing in church is more than enough! All I want is to glorify the Lord with all that he have given me. I am also happy and contented faithfully in love with my partner. God is more than enough . He is the best! Without Him all of us is nothing we have to give him all the glory and praise to his name!

Never understood why reporters don’t want to talk about what makes the person today that they’re interviewing. If one wants to talk about his faith in Christ, or his faith in Buddhism, or his faith in science, or his faith in alien life form- his antique watch collection, his two acre ant farm- whatever it is- wouldn’t it just be easier for the interviewer to get these answers since that’s what they want to naturally talk about? If you don’t believe in what Manny believes in- that’s fine- you don’t have to watch. Some of us just want to know where Mann is at right now, how did he get here, and how does he use his time these days to impact those around him. I say more interviewers should explore this instead of being so PC about things.
