When you put it like that; I guess I see why a lot of people were upset with the ending and why I never saw a problem with it. It’s an ultra-pragmatic solution. Sometimes, no matter how you try to solve a situation…sometimes the only answer is to subtract yourself from the equation and let the things you care about flourish without you. But I think for me; it’s about relinquishing the ego that we are necessary and letting go of the idea that nothing and no one could possibly exist without us …it’s about sacrificing yourself for the greater good…which was the most heroic thing they did the whole series. Idk…I think it’s gonna stay split down the middle depending on the personality of the person watching.

@@MayTheOddsBeInYourFavor i think that’s what the writers were going for, this season was just rushed and all over the place so it didn’t come across. i feel like it would have been better if a) the the siblings existence isn’t what causes the apocalypse, like instead they use their powers to save the world, but it kills them in the process and b) they all actually sort out their issues first so that the ultimate solution doesn’t feel like them accepting they “deserved” their childhood trauma. sidenote: i really disliked how they handled the “jennifer incident” and if that was the explanation, they should have never explained how ben died

@@pakpaksugar5194 agreed the Jennifer Incident was kinda silly. He brainwashed all of them to forget he’s the one that shot them both? How about Ben valiantly died saving everyone else from the energy coming off of Jennifer by sucking her into whatever nether dimension his tentacles come from and everyone else is wracked with guilt cause had they worked as a team, they could’ve prevented it all from happening and now it’s happening again except this time, Ben isn’t trying to stop Jennifer but actually help her do her thing.

Not really. This is literally the best way to end it, any other attempt would be much worse, this show is doomed from the beginning by its core story. Every season is about saving the world from apocalypse that they're created, it would be so boring to continue the same narrative for more seasons, and the only way to stop the disaster for good is just erasing the source of the problem aka themshelves.

Besides the mess of the final two episodes of this 6-Episode Season, I actually liked how Season 4 implemented Subway Lines as Different Timelines. It was a nice detail to handling Multiverse Theory

Lord knows I tried. The fourth and final season dropped. A big bowl of popcorn and a fresh bag of Twizzlers and I was ready. Ready. The first two episodes were so excruciatingly boring, the promise of Tom Hopper shirtless was not enough. And that is saying a lot.
