I think I understand why King and Queen act so differently. In King's song, he is constently resentful of the lightners "leaving him". What I think this means is that kids no longer find card games as fun, and they have declined in popularity over years and people have "abandoned them". I mean, he's a literal king of spades. However, in queen's song, she realizes that people enjoy the internet, using to to persuade others and is enjoying herself. There's also the line "Bow to me 'till the old world's gone", showing how glued people can be to social media.

I mean, that's the literal explanation. Darkners' backstories are based on what literally happened to the objects they're based on. The darkners in Chapter 1 have been abandoned and disgraced because that's what happened to the abandoned classroom. The darkners in Chapter 2 welcome lightners and Queen seeks to control them because they're based on the stuff in the computer lab.

Not to mention, the flaws in her genuinely good intentions are feasible for a computer. For instance: * Noelle's room in Queen's mansion seems to be decorated as per her frequent searches for "December Holiday". The results would've been for the general phrase, not the missing sister Noelle was undoubtedly hoping to find. * When Noelle outright tells Queen that she didn't enjoy being a prisoner, Queen seemed to pause with shock and regret. Apparently, the meek deer hadn't objected to _anything_ as Queen's prisoner, so she had no basis for thinking it made her uncomfortable. *Queen sought to spread Dark Fountains across the Light World because it was implied to be a good idea by the Knight. When Ralsei explained why this would cause more harm than good, she quickly switched gears.

Already seeing a few comments here and there comparing this video to mine so I'll get this out of the way: This is expertly made. The vocals from Lulu Grey are spectacular and fit Queen as a character perfectly. The ART. GOD I wish I could make stuff even close to as good as that. The vibrant colors, shading, and the overall composition are just beautiful. Now the Lyrics! I've already got a comment or two on my vid saying I did better, but I entirely disagree! These lyrics expertly tie into Queen's motives and the context of the fight, while also feeling like something Queen would actually say. (Which feel even more Queen-like coming from Lulu's mouth) And it all still has room to add in various references to ingame flavor text, and Inside(?) Overall, the MOTI-grade quality we've all come to expect. Y'all knocked it out of the park, as always. God DAMN is this good! The past couple months of content have just been fantastic. I love these songs for the way I get to see them use lyrics. The way words are sown in completely different and even romanticised ways that wouldn't normally come across unless you're well read. And then there's the higher order of themes which no good composition of literature could ever be without "A network built with Silicon will and me as the CPU" is a great example of incorporating the theme (since I haven't played but there seems to be an internet theme passing round) and juxtaposing the queen's raign to a computer. Silicon will. Makes something inatimate almost jump out at you as if it were living.

The internet theme is because Chapter 2 was based off a library computer lab, so most of the World's characters are based off forms of software or hardware, with Queen being implied to be a more advanced laptop

However, she felt very threatening here; Berdly was under mind control, and the tone of this song compared to her normal theme was such a shift.
