Here's another idea (like you need more things to do ...) You could eventually print molds of all the chateaux of the various chateau friends you have, and design a board game with them. The miniature printed (or made from molds) chateaux would be the game pieces for the board game :)

I was thinking more of a ghost story game. So, not a game to collect houses or money, but maybe a game where each player (representing a chateau) collects ghostly points by landing on various squares or meeting challenges, and then attains the victory label of Haunted Chateau. Or it could be a hunt by the players to discover which chateau is haunted, with the reveal at the end, like Clue.

Since you were waiting for the resin to arrive, couldn't you have just filled it with water & put it in the freezer to check the mold for any issues? It's adorable! So many wonderful suggestions here for how to use it.

Next time you could just make your mold upsode down so the flat base is the line you fill to...mthat way you can easily clamp the model in place so it cant float or move on you. Looks great, your 3D printer looks ace.

OMG My creative mind went to pendants, keychains, ornaments, toppers on ornamental boxes or jewelry boxes... LOVE the 3D chateau! I bet it's loads of fun to use! Heck you could even make up a board game and make loads of shapes to use as a game piece! LOL Make the game with the chateau friends included as game pieces! 😁

Tina, I am in the same boat, and agree that without people like these - it would have been very difficult to get thru the isolation. I consider these guys almost family (I am Canadian as well) and cheer at all of their successes and even their fails. You cannot have maker success without the trial and error part. I am in the exact same circumstance. I started watching Michael Petherick and he and Stephanie used to make funny videos together which lead to watching ALL the chateau friends. I adore the videos you have produced on the topic of graphics, wood and 3d printing. What helps with ensuring you have perfectly mixed your silicon for the mold is to introduce a bit of colour so you can visually see that the elements has been completely mixed.

You are such a cleaver fellow. Blender program and a 3D printer. Then make a mold. The mini Chateau idea is great. You could make them for different Chateau’s as Christmas Ornaments.

SUGGESTION: If you make any more molds, use double sided tape on the bottom of your model to hold it down. It is very sticky and should do the trick. That way you won’t have the whole of the popsicle stick in the top of your mold. Hope this is helpful.
