I think Ross said in an interview that the introductory melody is actually Joey on piccolo bass, not guitar. It's still a fun mix. Thanks for posting!

It's true, I had heard the same thing too. I don't have a bass guitar and I wouldn't have known how to do it either, it has taken me a lot of work to do it with the guitar since I am a beginner guitarist. Thank you very much for your comment and I'm glad you liked my cover. 🤘🤘
