this ebike thing sounds exciting. You guys are right, if more companies delve into this space, we could have a brand new water sports on our hands😲😲

so cool! I'm guessing learning to ride the Manta5 is just like learning to ride a bike. We have to remember that we found learning to ride a bike was difficult - we fell off a few times! But, now we know how to ride a bike we enjoy the pleasure of riding! The Manta5 will be the same - once you learn how to ride, the pain of learning will be forgotten and you'll love it!

Having a Regatta with about 20 of these racing a smaller Regatta style course would be awesome, just like Sail GP and The America's Cup.

Hello! I am interested in this question: In the event of a complete shutdown or failure of the electric motor "in deep water", is it possible to get up and start from the depth using only the pedal drive (leg power) without an electric assistant?

I don’t think so, you might need to swim back

I'm a cyclist and am always looking for a new way to keep training fun and engaging. This looks to fit those needs. Roughly speaking.....once underway, how many watts of effort does it require to pedal the bike without the electric assist for a rider of 160'ish lbs?

I saw the non-electric fully manual version of this on KZbin several weeks ago and that was way too difficult for even a skilled rider to travel for any distance. This seems better but still not for me I think. Call me lazy ;)

why would I bike on the water, with high friction resistance? if I wanted that, I would go to gym where there are all sorts of resistance equipment. this is a no-go.
@JetSurfingNation3 жыл бұрын
It's using the hydrofoil wings so there is no high friction resistance, you are basically gliding over the surface.

Is this what happens when everyone gets a participation trophy? Hey I'm just asking. Has anyone ever heard the word no?

this is equivalent to have runners and bike riders an additional weight on their shoulders while competing...but there is no such thing
