★★★ *FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT THE VIDEO / FACT UPDATES* ★★★ *1) If you stop peddling you sink and drown* - For all those people who think this, you clearly did not watch the video, the bike floats, and most of the time when you start off riding the bike you will be in deep enough water to get going, you simply hop on the bike while it's underwater and start peddling and you come to the surface, like it was shown in the video. Plus the only way you would drown is if you can't swim in the first place. *2) If it's an e-bike why do they have to pedal?* - I know American have e-bikes like scooters, just twist the throttle and go, but in some countries e-bikes can only be Pedal Assist, which means the motor does nothing unless you are pedalling first.

I think a lot of these penny pinching whiners are completely missing the point here. This isn't a bicycle, it isn't a toy, and it isn't meant for everyone. This is a niche, proof of concept, luxury item. Lots of small companies pop up like this one and build expensive products on the cutting edge of current technology, and they get funding not because people think they will sell a million water bikes... it's because they're interested in something else. One company that invested might be interested in water proof electronics, or another might be interested in complex shape forming with carbon fiber. The companies funding these projects don't see a fancy water bike, they see a potential solution to problem they have and a company that can fix it. Once it comes to sales, they just care about making the money back that they put in, and selling a luxury item like this almost always makes money. It's a status symbol, and people will buy 3 just so they can brag about it on Facebook so people know how rich they are. If you're whining about the price, that means this product isn't even meant for you... they don't even want to advertise to you. That's how these companies work. Everything from water jetpacks, dolphin submarines, or compact paragliders... they aren't meant for you. Unless you have some spare room on your second yacht to keep them in.

I'm sure that's optimistic. Then it's FIVE hours to recharge. At the end of the summer, the battery will only be good for a half hour, and a replacement will cost $2000. Those batteries are expensive, and really lose performance fairly quickly.

Sounds like somebody's jealous. Let's see you develop a product. One caveat, you might have to leave mom's basement.

Looks like fun great workout even if electric... Only thing is my fear of sharks is way too big after some previous experiences. Plus I think this idea of bike is fantabulous, but can't help to think of it as a nice size fishing lure for a great white...

Most of the fun of being on the water is the erratic movement and the sense of speed you get from that. The hydrofoils smooth everything out, this doesn't look like a lot of fun.

So $9000, you have to really work just to get it going. You slow down, you sink. Hmmm.. no! Just get a REALLY good kayak for $2000. And yeah... at that price, a $2K kayak is luxury!

@@sheolreaver4565 I think "fail" refers to a business failure and not that things stop working because of a price tag.

@Harold Hernandez you have no point, and what you said actually shows how little you understand of what cuba is really like. You are like those that like to call anything they don't get "hitler". Just like you think a few riots in the U.S turned that country into freaking cuba...
@turecomuerde4 жыл бұрын
@Harold Hernandez LOL damn you keep insisting in that you had a "point". I bet with those comparisons you make that you think Trump is as bad as hitler, right? LOL

@Harold Hernandez "usa is just like cuba now because of riots, I say so, so it is super funny and smart and whoever does not agree is an idiot" that's how you sound

@Harold Hernandez sure buddy, hopefully later on today you won't have to stand in line half of the day to get a loaf of bread, like in cuba people are standing in line right this very moment.
