I am always concerned about the idea of treating people in the hospitality industry with kindness as a bit of a concern to me. I don't think they should be treated any special way, because that already means you look down on them. I treat them like people in any other job, professionally and with respect.

Eli, having an engaging and passionate discussion gained me a second date and now we are married. You are on the right track on that. I didn't know men loved that until my husband mentioned it later as to why he pursued me. Genuinely lighting up

My contribution to this topic Is, it's high time, we stop pointing fingers on "society" and start advocating for individual responsibility. It's difficult to pin point who society is thus difficult to tackle these social issues. I advocate for us to change the conversation to individual responsibility. Let's encourage people to seek change and them to desire to do and be better.

Crash for women is different, I still keep the home running and your kids and your well-taken care of. Most men want the same standards of care for themselves even when they are not working. So I go to work and do everything for the home. While you are watching sports and drinking beer

Unless you come from serious money, finances comes in waves in today's world. Your spouse can get a serious deal a few years into the marriage. If all your worth comes from "you earn more", then such deals become a source of crisis rather than a great chance to pump more into the shared family projects/investments. Mkurugenzi (or is it Director Phil) have shared the ups of having a wife with the financial muscle and sees her money as "our money". There is a type of man for this type of woman, all the same.

Beautiful episode. Let me just start by stating how much I love you guys and what you're doing. So Oscar Koome, I beg to disagree on your reasons for why there's a boy crisis. There's no doubt that there's a boy crisis, thinking that somehow society is being structured to emasculate men and that society doesn't want men to succeed, I think we live in a world where the most likely human to succeed is a man. I think that men are taking longer to come to terms with the women emancipation movement, they are failing to comprehend the idea that women can and are doing great things and taking their place on the table.

I really think Oscar is apologising for poor discipline with Men. Honestly even now men still earn 30% more in the same role 🙄 frustrating to bits.

Secondly they (men)are given more opportunities because of childcare that women have to dea lwith. I think its simply that a small percentage of women are suddenly in the equation. Majority of African women are still very underprivileged and lack opportunities

On the question of gender roles and equality I think men have become sidelined more as the question of empowering women has become more prominent. I really think the real question on the whole debatable topic should be ´are we aiming to achieve gender equality or make women more entitled than men?´
