Thank you for leaving it as the full hour instead of splitting it into two parts 😩

Oscar's comment about developing insecurities as an adult cause you were academically successful from an early age resonated with me. That stuff messes with ur head as a grown up. Cause you and everyone else assumed you will always be successful. When things don't go that way, you could easily become depressed. Also the pressure you put on yourself even when things are going right is insane
@erastusmuthee93972 жыл бұрын
It creates alot of pressure on someone, people expect you to have it figured out all the time.
@ken47222 жыл бұрын
@@erastusmuthee9397 yup. Even u as a person u create this pressure on urself cause things always went right for u from an early age. You think they will always go right all the time.

Good vibes all the way. my takeaways; 1. Discern permanent and temporary relationships and treat them as such. 2. Persistence exceeds talent.

I understand Oscar on always wanting to the best of the best in everything cause of the academic success you were associated with in your formative years. With time I'm learning to show my self a little grace and I'm learning that as long as I give my best I'm good.

I disagree with the mentality of dating within your class. Classism is such a British thing. That’s because the social mobility is almost nonexistent. I live in Denmark where your life isn’t defined by the class you are born in. You can be born in a poor family and move straight into wealthy bracket.

Yes, nothing is permanent. You might be struggling right now but your breakthrough can happen in a year or some years to come. I understand the issue about conversations and families. Some of these things you learn as you go.

Eli and Oscar, you all never disappoint (you both feel like younger brothers to me lol); I'm always virtually rooting for you both to success and more success; BTW, can you share the brand of the lamps shown here; I love them (sorry I know it has nothing to do with the content but if you know, share please/thanks)

Enlightening as always! Had to stop to comment on conversation about work ethic /grit among children of the privileged, sharing a quote, ‘Hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create hard times.’ - M. Hopf. Keep the grit game going…..

It's usually a vicious cycle, I'm usually of the belief that everyone who's struggling in life had one of their ancestors do something careless with what they were entrusted with. Maybe they were from a privileged background so they were always given what they wanted so they grew to be very entitled people then eventually failed and sunk into unfortunate circumstances, then their grandkids who've grown up in those circumstances, realize that no one will help them apart from themselves so they go ahead and work super hard and they become successful and their kids are born into success and the cycle continues.
