It's tough to be vulnerable about the emptiness that comes with being single. Single life for me is peaceful and there's freedom to be myself- selfish, independent, timeless(if that makes sense)- but I also want to be all these things with someone.

i think that no matter the level of success, there is chance, opportunity and choice to get a woman who isn't just impressed by your wealth and who gravitates more to you as a person. i am a believer that with growth comes separation of chaff from grains, so yes the window might be small and the women limited but think!!!! by the time you are building , there is women who are also building, when you are growing self there are those who are doing the same. so from where i am sat we can also say that if you don't build as a man , don't grow there wont be any women to be impressed by the said wealth and success because they will also have held down their own fort. thats the beauty of breaking away from the norms. so its in order to say both your opinions are valid, however you choose to approach life, LIVE !! if you choose building with your significant other do so , do not ,however ,romanticise struggle while at it though, if you choose growing self first ENJOY being single. find yours later, life is beautiful!

The way Oscar came for Eli when he mentioned loneliness 😂 but low-key, don't attack a guy for admitting something so vulnerable. In fact, that can be another part to this conversation.

Men subconsciously look for their mothers in their wives and ladies subconsciously look for their fathers in their husbands... we tend to be more inclined to what we've been exposed to. Great conversations Oscar and Eli 👌🏿👏🏿

The amount of times Oscar & Eli picked up water LOL. This topic seems to be a difficult one for you both, but I love the vulnerability and realness. I think the theme that I have really heard is how important it is to form real PLATONIC female & male friendships, I think these teach both men and women how to navigate relationships (romantic or otherwise in the future). Its very difficult as a woman to find men who (in my experience) want to be friends without extra additives, especially in Kenya, when I visit or even just friends from my past so I really value the male friendships I have found in my life that are purely platonic.

Letting go of a specific perspective of what life looks like and allowing yourself to transform your mindset is the hardest yet bravest thing you can ever do. The beauty of life is the continuous learning curve. The results are fascinating especially when things start falling into place as you hoped for.

This was quite a riveting yet impactful episode the take home lessons for me are quite alot!! Especially from the dimension that these two gentlemen have dissected the concept of what should be an "ideal" relationship as opposed to what the society dictates. Especially as men, gone are the days where we could look at a woman from the outside demeanor and the physical appearances, personally I'm now learning to be more inclined towards the inner beauty that's comprised of the intelligence, virtues and substantial values(to look at the bigger picture). I loved it!!! Mad props to these gents!!

How you love, allow to be loved, care for another, fear, courage is learned from your parents and also from conditions surrounding your childhood. A child is a seed, how you nurture the said seed determines the quality of the tree. Most of us are operating from that, we don't take time to unlearn and parent ourselves to become better versions of ourselves......this road is to be travelled if you really want to heal and grow as a person.

This episode has been quite a whirlwind. As always the men have delivered the talk. I resonate a lot with what Eli said about having the bandwidth to be emotionally available to other people, especially women who am trying to build something. I agree that self-work has to happen regardless of how long it takes. MEN, SPEND TIME WITH YOU.ENJOY(in Oscar's voice😂😂😂)

I tend to believe that theres someone for everyone, if you're a good and polite guy theres a jumpy and all over girl who may be attracted to you, and vice versa, what we need to do is put ourselves out there more, I wish there were good and active dating apps that people like me who are more closed and not outside that much can meet other like minded people, there are people who are privileged enough to be in positions and places where they are able to meet many different people, that for me is a very big privilege if you ask me. New fan here!

I find that you both actually have the same perspective when it comes to the " (Oscar)build yourself before meeting someone or building together (Eli)." the only difference in your opinions is time. The seven years Eli has been single could have been the period he did most of the self-work, and now he has achieved personal independence; he's at peace with the idea of interdependence with someone to build an empire( for lack of a better word). Whereas it appears to me, Oscar is on the journey of self-awareness. He's yet to achieve personal independence. Maybe that's why he's not of the idea of codependency now. It is a matter of time before he arrives at the same space as Eli has. I also think it is important to contextualize your upbringing. It seems like Eli has had a high caliber of women within his environment, which could have shaped his idea on what, when, and how to navigate relationships with women. Oscar did not share much about the women in his life; this could have shaped his mindset. As for identity, I agree with both of you; beauty transcends what you look like (physical appearances); it is more of who you are as a person(self-defined values and beliefs). The former is bound to change with respect to time and space, but the latter is inbuilt irrespective of plights. I enjoy your videos!! Nice work!!

I feel like men should just be themselves. You don't need to try to be sweet or manly just be yourself and there will be someone out there to like you for who you are. You shouldn't feel pressured to change who you are for love unless the change is positive.
