Manti Te'o opens up about his life

Manti Te'o is a former NFL linebacker that played 8 seasons in the NFL between the San Diego Chargers, New Orleans Saints, and Chicago Bears. Te'o played college football at Notre Dame, where he became one of the most decorated college football players of all time, including 8 national awards. He is well known in the media space for the infamous fake girlfriend where he became the victim of a catfishing hoax. Manti's story is told in last year's Netflix documentary "Untold: The Girlfriend Who Didn't Exist".

To Uce, I'm a 49 y/o father of 5 great kids. For most of my adult life, I struggled with depression and anxiety due to the abuse and trauma I endured as child by my father and step mother. Your story has made a big difference and inspired me and from this moment on, how I will forgive myself and move on. I understand now why the Lord chose you for what you went through because you were disciplined, faithful and strong Through it all you have been a great example and made a difference in the world, as you have done for me. People will always see you as a great football player that you were but God's plan was much greater. People will see you for the incredible human being that you are. God bless 🙏

After seeing NF Doc., for the catfish girl to think she was a victim for 1 second is NOT right! . My dad had a brutal, year long battle with Leukemia,m and is a great loss for me! I can’t believe anybody would tell you they died from leukemia like this! She is so sick! My friend went two years before meeting her online boyfriend. you did nothing wrong! Also remember, No matter what you do, you can’t make everyone happy! NEVER! Just make yourself happy! You are a survivor!!!
