A beautiful modern reflective piece from my friend, organist Jan Noordzij. A nice piece and a great exercise to stay at te same speed the whole piece. The ostinato accompaniment stays the same the whole piece, but it required some concentration to prevent your hand and feet to “break free”. I like it. Do you?
If you want to play this piece yourself, you can find it on Jan’s personal website for free! www.jannoordzij.nl.
For the best listening experience, I recommend using headphones, earbuds, or a hi-fi set. The sound dynamics of the pipe organ are truly remarkable and can be fully appreciated with high-quality audio equipment.
Played with the 1924 Steinmeyer organ, Landau, St. Maria, Germany (Hauptwerk)
