There are advantages and disadvantages to a manual safety. If you are an expert gun user and carrying a gun is important to you, then a manual safety is not necessary. If you are a gun enthusiast and not an expert gun user then a manual safety is essential. In my personal opinion, the best safety is to not have the chamber loaded

First of all training is must. Some time i carry round in chamber depends on area and time and I don’t like safety 😊 that’s my opinion

Own a canik mete sf Im not comfortable with the idea of having 1 in the chamber. On the other hand I am very comfortable having a hammer fired pistol with one in the chamber hammer down. As for manual safety I would always prefer it over without safety, regardless of safe action triggers it comforting to have a manual safety

In my opinion if someone is used to keep the weapon at home living wth family of three four kids the best option is to have manual safety . For battle field environment it should be without manual safety . If f some one is keeping 4/5 pistols of different makend type , their safties work differently, some are pushed up some are pulled down to deactivate the safety and in emergency one really get confused and the chances are of a complete miss / failure .

Aoa nauman bhai I'm planning on buying a canik tp9 sf mete But the reviews I've seen online say that it has a lot of issues regarding reliability it jams a lot in the beginning, which has made me doubt my decision. My brother. According to my experience and EDC from couple of years Glock 19 or CZ are the best option. You need to fire almost 1500 rounds through Canik to breakdown the pistol. There are better opinions in market
