Wow.. you made that look so easy! The prices for wood is just sad, but on the positive side.. at least they had wood available. Great job and thanks for sharing. Be Blessed

Hey Thanx for being smart about transporting by red flagging the long pieces. Most don't do that and it's the law where I'm at. Anything overhanging more than 3' required to be red flagged.

Very nice machine. Now that you've had it a while, has there been any corrosion from the steel bolt going through the copper sleeve? If it lives in the barn, you might not get that problem, but usually dis-similar metals will corrode. I believe I'll use your design for my own bailer but probably plan to use stainless steel for the sleeve and bolts to prevent any issues. Thanks for sharing.

Hi! Thanks for giving this design a try. Making this again I would try to find a way to increase the mechanical advantage making tighter bales. As we don’t live anywhere near salt water, the untreated wood would rot out long before the copper/steel rusted through. We have found this baler very handy for making bales for the barn and garden. Take care and good luck, Glen

Went to buy a 1/2 inch sheet of plywood, $78.00, and the price has come down. Great invention Glen. I like doing things like that.

Thank you very much! They are talking about lumber prices coming down but I think they have to move through some expensive stock here first. How are things going down there?
