The Supra tax on aftermarket parts is real and insane. Not cool at all. 1st to 2nd jerkiness us caused by the Cluth Delay Valve. A lot of people online prefer to remove it so there is no jerkiness.

It really is I never expected spoilers to be over 1k and that's before doing carbon some stuff I get the price point but others it just doesn't make sense 🤦‍♂️ thats also what I've heard with the clutch delay valve and I've also heard there's some software you can get that also helps with it not entirely sure but I do want to just remove the valve at some point so we'll see

fake vents, BMW engine, wind buffeting... everyone complains about the same things. honestly it's like complaining there's not enough frosting on your cake. I can't wait to get mine. fingers crossed it will be here next month. same thing... black/black premium MT at MSRP 😉. but yeah... I'm already ordering the open front vents, open hood vents, rear lip spoiler, and wind buffeting deflectors. very small additions imo to a beautiful car (time will tell how I feel about the exhaust note.

Thats awesome glad to hear you're getting one and you're getting all those parts! It'll help out a ton! I'm still working on my forged carbon wing but once I finish that and get the exhaust on I'll he really happy with it Honestly it's hard to hate on the car I'm just being very picky and its all minimal stuff but Definitely getting it at MSRP is a huge plus in today's economy

get downpipes dude, not an exhaust. but buying a 60k car and complaining the exhaust is 1500 is silly tbh. Also, this car is MADE for modding, so wth are you doing keeping the wheels and exhaust and all?

I'm going to get a downpipe at some point just not in any real rush for that I'm just wanting it to be louder hence the exhaust.. as for price spending 1500 on something I don't like the look of is what I don't like.. I spent less on a full titanium exhaust on my r32 and loved the way it looked but people using the bmw name and price point just to make money is annoying.. I already have the HKS exhaust that I'm wanting to do anyway just have to custom fit it which is more unique and what I want to do Eventually when I have the ability to throw more money at it I will for sure be doing way more mods to it. Like you said these are very capable platforms and love mods I'm just currently working on doing a mini build on my r32 skyline

This… man’s is complaining about a $1.5-$2k exhaust in 2024 on a $60k+ sports car lol. At least kudos to him for getting the manual.

Congrats again on the supra. I agree with the fake vent fad. The few nitpicking things are fixable with money but lets be honest, youre a car guy so stock is never the best option lol once you hvae the wheels, exhaust, and maybe a spoiler, youll be in love with it all over again. Slowly but surely man. We know itll never be truly done anyways.

Thats very true and I forget sometimes being a car guy makes me not enjoy stock things hahaha very good point there! Thank again as usual! Soon enough we'll be starting the "build" in this car just have to wrap the grey skyline up 😅

How do you like the convoluted way you go about checking the oil in this thing.German engineering complicating and creating failure points.

Sadly I haven't checked the oil yet i just hit a little over 1600 miles so It's probably time to see how it looks 😬 I'll probably hate that too haha

Buy bimmer code. You can make the auto start stop coded so its turned off untill you want to turn on.

The MKIV exhaust is not going to work to well even with a custom exhaust. You have to trim the bottom diffuser to look right and with the correct angle. The B58 is a better engine than the 2JZ by far. In no way shape or form a 2JZ can beat the MPG of the B58. Also, in no way can a 2JZ output power like a B58 with just a downpipe and tune.

I agree with you on that also I've already got the mk4 exhaust so I'm going to custom fit it one way or another 😂 I have an idea in mind so I'll make it work

Yeah thats just me being honest haha there's things that can change that'll make it better 😂 I love my r32 skyline as well but I actually rank it a 2/10 Once I start doing things to it and changing it the ranking will go up don't worry 😂😂

I'm confused as to what you think im upset about haha I never said I hate the car infact I said I love the car and think it's very amazing but there's small things I don't care for which can easily be changed... I also said this was me being very nit picky and I wanted to be completely honest for others who may also want a supra and just giving my overall opinion about the "negatives" again all very small and can easily be changed It's a factory car I'm not expecting it to be perfect 10/10 especially when it has none of my personality into it 🤷‍♂️ im sure there's lots of people that can buy a brand new car and have a complaint about something no car is absolutely perfect and people love to change and modify it to fit them
