Now mt90 is up to 90 bucks a jug, i remember when i could get it for 50 kinda kicking myself for not stocking up on it back then lol

The ax-15 takes 3.4 quarts 75-90w GL-4 do not use GL-5 your synchros are brass and GL-5 causes abrasions to yellow metals . Use GL-4 75-90w

Exactly. Castrol transmax manual is a fully synthetic GL-4 75-90w gear oil. Should work fine.

You can use ATF or 10w30 also. Most guys go with ATF for its anti foaming properties and also because thats what the newest spec was on the AX15

Hey im changing my fluid probably tomorrow. Was wondering if after draining it it would a decent idea to spray some brake cleaner inside the fill hole and drain hole to try and clean it up a bit. Will that damage the internals of the transmission at all?

Alexander Barrera I personally wouldn’t do it, but I’m sure it wouldn’t mess things up either. Not exactly sure to be completely honest.
