You should have showed turning it off. Most cases, people over tighten which in turn ruins the o ring inside that blow valve and then have to replace the entire valve because now the system won’t shut off. Oh yes, it happens

@@AB76042yes but he didn’t show that you have to turn off the water to do so and trust me a lot of people dnt know we’re there shut off water valve is located..he is correct the littlest thing can have that valve not close back up when you turn it on from the solenoid

@@JK-dk7enya bro you can manually open and close that valve all you want and it’s still going to be just fine ..dude up top was just saying the guy posting the video should have let everyone know how to shut it back off because sometimes there’s issues turning them off and delays..

If the irrigation control for a particular station is on, but it only turns on if I open the solenoid counterclockwise. Does this mean that the solenoid is bad?

Bad solenoid, nicked/cut sire for that station, or the timer could be malfunctioning or the module in your timer that the station wire is connected to, you can check if it's the solenoid by using a solenoid off of another station, touching the wires to the common snd station wire for the bad solenoid and if it buzzes, the wires and controller are good and fhe aolenoid needs to be replaced, if there's no buzz, there's no power getting through the wires

Did u figure it out? If not I can help. Most likely it’s the solenoid to your valve that is not working or the timer itself may not be working. In the mean time, make sure the wires to your timer are properly installed

Is there anyway to blow out your sprinklers there in the valve box? We don't have another way.

You can take the last sprinkler off the line and turn on the valve manually to clean out the line. I hope this helps

My problem is how to put it on timer. 😢 if i turn it manually it will turn on/ off manually too but i dont know why my timer isnt working or syncing to it what seems to be the problem... we hired some lawn people but they didnt help us just took our money and never fix it properly...

You obviously have a malfunctioning timer. Replace it.

Thanks for this tip. My system doesn’t seem to have a backflow installed. I did see where the pressure regulator is and I located the valves. I have a leak and don’t know how to shut it off. Any advice? Can they be turned off from the valves? Thanks!

You can screw down the top of the valve and it will shut the valve off completely. Some valves have a knob and others have a screw driver tip. Hope this helps, I’ll have to make a video on this next
