Manuel de la Torre changed my golf life for the better. Always been handy in the sand (even before Manny) and usually use a wedge with bounce- but played a 5-iron out of a shallow greenside bunker to just a few feet from the pin yesterday. It was glorious. I was playing one-clubbed with vintage tour-blade Wilson 5i. I'm in my second year of swinging as Manuel teaches. It's great.

Wonderful tip! I used to go after the ball hard with my right hand creating a steep cut right behind the ball...I like Manuel's way much better.
