I would love to have been there, none of the toys r us on my area of los angeles did that. No news coverage nothing. Like saying yea ok close already who cares. What an ICON , and memories of this store. I can clearly remember on one occasion, my mum took me here and in the cart; was the masters of the universe heman castle. She said it was a gift fir another lil boy, i was sad because i wanted it. But weird because at the same time, something inside i knew it was for me. I clearly remember that knight, i cry when i think about it, as i am now. I miss the good days, when i had a family.

This is truly sad,I first visited toys r us as 4 year old in 1992. It was a magical place full of things I wanted. My local one closed about 3 years ago. But it's sad to see the entire company go. The end of an era....
